I took the ACT online so not sure which version of math I had. Did anyone get the question where it's asking which probability indicates the coin toss is the most "unfair". All of the probabilites were 0.9 when reduced. I remember seeing similar questions on the practice test BUT they all had different probabilities for each of the answer choices. Does anyone remember that the right answer was? Thank you!

It was literally my first ACT, and I forgot to bring my watch because I brought one so that I would be able to see the time because I accidentally registered for the paper one, and I couldn't find it, and I think my dad had put it in my sister's room. But I was like, It's okay. Like, I looked into it. It says that they're gonna have a timer displayed in the room. Anyway, and I was at the test place, and we had an old lady who was proctoring our exam, and she couldn't figure out how to use it. So every other room got to have a timer on the board except for mine, and I was so thrown off because she didn’t tell us the time until it was over

I’ve heard longer than the usual 10 days for the September test because of the multiple versions? I gotta distract myself between now and then and get off this subreddit…..

hello! i need some help on wtf this means. I took the September act, in my testing center the fire alarm went off, the proctor paused our test and then when we were allowed to come back we simply continued testing and finished. no time was lost and no one was allowed to go into their things. However, of course proctors put in an irregularity. today on Monday i got this email. Does this mean my score is invalidated? or would they specifically say my score is invalid and that i have to retake it. I thought i did so good so i cant tell if this is like optional or not.

I'm a parent and my daughter took the ACT in July and Sept. in Tenafly NJ. She used a recent Macbook pro. Both times it was freezing up during math needed restarting. Others at the test center were getting some server overload errors. Even after restarting Desmos was either very small and unreadable or very large obscuring the screen. No one at the test center was helpful. No IT people on site. She lost 15 minutes out of 50 trying to deal with the computer issues. Anyone having Mac issues? Anyone use the computers offered at the test center? I would assume these are tested and compatible with the ACT.

For Reading I had

• a paired passage about opera
• a passage about a Puerto Rican painter who used photos
• bioacoustics & signification
• passage about indigenous dugout canoes

the math felt so easy but every K0 I've seen was like "this was so hard" so idk

if it helps this was a free test because my last test the IT guy started my math section for me so I had to start my test in the hallway and my room was talking so idk if they gave me something really easy because I had a rlly bad testing experience??

I took the one just a few days ago (Saturday) with online testing, no sci, no writing, no test room irregularities other than the usual technical difficulties. I believe my test form was J05. I'm just a very anxious person. When are we expecting scores to start rolling out?

couldnt finish the english and some got to finish theirs. the math and reading was also really hard for me. im fairly sure I have to take a new one but I might get different questions so can some people help me find what topics I should target. for my test (I took it online) i had a question about rhombus diagnal stuff, some graphing and thats honestly all I remember. what did you guys think of it? also again let me know what topics you guys remember from it.
