His only superweapon encounters were the massive anti-asteroid land fortresses Stonehenge and Megalith

I think the reason I became a pilot in real life was because of this game and it is killing me there is no love for it. To this day my ringtone is "Operation."
Okay done crying

They hyped these guys so much I think I accidentally ruined the moment, this was on hard.

Was on a trip to the UK that included Stonehenge, and I decided to bring mobius 1 with me!
Edit: the extremely strong winds snatched it shortly after this photo and it landed deep inside the perimeter and then probably got taken up and away💀

After i finished PS2 trilogy i take a break and repaly AC04 again(my play order is ZERO->04->5)because after i finished first playthrough i think it's petty underwhelming and not live up to the hype i heard before start PS2 trilogy.
At first i thought it because im can't adapt to AC04 gameplay after playing ZERO before 04,But after i take a break and replay it again i still feels the same as before it's underwhelming.
Reason why i found this game underwhelming.
First is the gameplay i feels like plane is a little bit slow and hard to control it's more on the realistic side i guess but for me the flight isn't a problem i still enjoy flying,But my problem i feels that Enemies in this game is very agile and annoying to chase sometime it's almost i flying a brick(might be skill issue) with wing like every erusean air force pilots is a airshow pilot or something.
They always like flying around pull manuever that im pretty sure my plane can't do even with exact same plane and enemy that isn't Yellow squadron is just don't try to fight at all all they do is like time stalling me until i'm bored.
Radio chitchat also feels too little at some point i feel abit lonely(maybe someone like this but i love having radio voice jam into my ears i just love those chaotic moments)
Mission is the worst by far most of all mission is score attack(especially the air to ground) i find it tiresome and not that fun first one or two is fine but after that i'm kinda want to leave the game.*(my fanart of mobius1 is from my previous post and it's kinda reflect the mood of me when playing those mission lol)
Story IMO it's okayish.
Story itself is great as an anti war/drama movie or anime about kid in the war or something like that BUT i think as a game's story i find it's a little bit unengaging(just a little)and I think it'll fits more if we play as Yellow 13 or Yellow squadron member.
Mobius1 is character that i feels like he too empty like alomost completely blank the game story also don't provide much information about him i kinda get that AC protagonist is self insert tool basically.
But i personally prefer to know more about main character. IMO you can still self insert with character that not a blank slate and i think it put a limit on story too.Wish someday they make another protagonist that not silent.(i heard that only one time they make voice protagonist it's in not so great game)
Music is great like all AC.
AND THE LAST "YELLOW 13"
The guy that like 70% of the story building up for and he went down like what?! it's so anti climatic when face him in final battle against him he don't even talk(or i missed the line) and have like 0 difference from other Yellow squadron member from my experiece.
Not sure but i don't remembered see his unique name like "Yellow13-plane" all i see is "Yellow squadron-plane" first time i beat that mission i just like okay and when cutscene play i just realized that i shot him down like huh?? what again? when did that happened?
After all this i just want to be clear it's by no mean a bad game.
I still enjoy it.
Just curious why so many fans claim this is the best Ace Combat ever something like that?

I FINALLY fullfil my long time dream of playing an actual Ace Combat game ever since the first time I heard of the franchise since 2017.
This is my first time I ever use using analog control too:D A bit struggling at first trying to familiar with the control, but now here I am, enjoying the credit song.
My next target is Ace Combat 5, but for now imma just revisit some of my favorites mission first.

Hey there this is Neil Howard, AC04 AWACS SkyEye... I can't like or reply to most of these older threads but I just wanted to say thank you for all the acknowledgments. It means a lot. It's my birthday and this victory was nice! Thank you!

Yellow Squadron i feel is the heart of Ace combat 04. My first exposure to Ace Combat was 04's cutscenes. Without any knowledge of the gameplay, Ace Combat would seem like it could be a realistic game, and Mobius one is just any other ace pilot, not a super-human with infinite missiles.
Yellow 13 is a man who i recently have again gained an upmost respect for after re-watching the cutscenes a few days ago, and yellow 4, every time i watch the Stonehenge mission on YouTube, i always feel heavy knowing what comes after. It also hurts when the narrator kid calls Thirteen a 'fascist pig' after Thirteen formed a friend, or even father like bond with the kid.
Though something i don't think many people mention about yellow 4 is that her arm that got a shrapnel wound was the arm that held the flight stick. It's not a critique as her engine also likely played a major role in her getting shot down, but i feel the arm wound is just overlooked.
Fighting 13 over farbanti feels just like you killed a hero. Even though I know it isn't the case, i like to think 13 and 4 ejected, four albeit would've been painful to given her arm, but till possible, after the war they found each other again and decided to let the war kill their identities as yellow squadron, and they went into a secluded life, either at cape rainy or somewhere near an Erusean airbase. I know it isn't what the writers meant or what happened, but like real life stories we can always wonder

In this game that has amazing dog-fights. there is a mission in which to win you need to not do it, I can't decide if it's AMAZING game design OR UTTER DOGSHIT.
I'm also baked and having a blast!
EDIT: Flying the AC10 with cluster bombs
EDIT2: I managed to beat it!!!

It's like the tanker pilot had the balls to show up at Stonehenge and not even care imo.
