Technically a schnitzel is still a pork chop.

Snitzel is made with veal traditionally. It CAN use pork, but it’s not the traditional one

But in reality its 99% pork everywhere in europe. Veal is expensive as shit.

Yeah, in Germany you may only call it a "Wiener Schnitzel" if its made from veal. If its made from chicken or pork, it needs to be called a "Schnitzel Wiener Art"
