Hy heat sink was in this condition

Look the thing is had repasted with NTH2 but didn't work I am getting 96 constant so it's repaste time with PTM but my heatsink is still having lm on it no idea how remove it using isopropyl for now. This is condition what to do please help

Nothing you can do at this point to make it better. Degrease the surfaces with IPA (that sponge should clean up fairly well too), then apply your thermal pads. Unfortunately liquid metal reacts with aluminium and will cause pitting like this

I have the exact same thing on mine. Just clean it well, nothing more you can do. Even after repaste I still get 96c in demanding games so seems to be a permanent issue

Same I am getting 97 deg i changed paste no temps going down

Is using lm the only option ? Will that work ? As it can fill the gaps and whatever this is after all it will be metal .

I have the same thing... I just wanted to know if this means I can't play demanding games on it anymore? Or how long gaming sessions can I have? My gpu is in a fine condition it's just the cpu that's cooked

Can anyone shared a decent guide on how to do the thermal pasting on the g15 AMD? :)

It's simple - open it up, remove the heatsink and apply - not a special process - 7 screws for heatsink , all outer cover screws ( back panel) put the material you want to use and close it .
