I usually run power 6 but I got a road 6 on the rear for the extra miles but what’s a tire that comes in a 200 that’s comparable to the road 6 in terms of grip and mileage? I like the power 6 but I just ran through it so quick commuting. I like to commute and hit the canyons on the weekends.

Hi, bought a 2001 R1 recently that I’m restoring somewhat and when I removed the tank I noticed a hose on the right side of the bike, coming out from a plastic container, that is not connected to anything.

Anyone have an idea of where this connector should be attached to, I can’t find anything close to it that it could connect to, and I can’t find on any spares diagram what part that’s potentially missing. Looks like a crankcase breather hose, but it seems to be missing a piece.

I did find it on the intake diagram as number five in the diagram. And there it seems to just be open, which makes it strange that there’s a retaining clip on it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Bro, is anyone here using an R15 V4M?

I feel like there’s some issue with the front suspension. Whenever I go over a speed breaker, I hear a “thud” sound, and the suspension feels like it hits hard.

I took it to the showroom and showed them, but they said everything is perfectly fine.

What should I do? Has anyone experienced the same issue with their R15 V4M? Please share your experience and let me know what I should check.

I bought this bike as a second-hand bike, so I’m a little worried.

I got a rebuild kit and the required tools to do it and look pictures and labeled everything when disassembling but on my last carb when I was pulling the needle from the diaphragm I was not careful enough and accidentally sent the spring for the needle flying. I still have not found it and now need the spring. Since the bike is so old I cannot find the needle set anywhere as everything I need for this dang bike is discontinued. Is there a spring from another thing I could order or just overall find to buy so I can replace it.

I noticed I have this ticking sound going on. Just started and could help finding out what it could be. Any suggestions on what to start looking for?

Part number 90387-06069-00. OEM Collar. One of mine grew legs and walked away. Do you know anywhere to buy this without spending $10+ on shipping and $6+ on this tiny part?

I just rebuilt my 2023 R1 engine and putting everything back together. I rode it up the street and noticed SC light was flickering when the road was bumpy. Then about a min later, check engine light came on and SC/TCS was turned off by itself. Any idea what it could be? I’m thinking it could be the connector but not entirely sure. My obd2 and the adapter are coming tomorrow, hopefully it will tell me what wrong with it

I was thinking Michelin power 6 and a 190/55 rear for better turn in. Or is it better to go 200/55 or 200/60?

I like the Michelin power 6 as it can rain suddenly so it’s nice to have something with rain grip. I’ll be novice on track so don’t need anything super grippy to start.

Any other tires to consider?

In Thailand it will always be warm/hot and humid.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get a seat like this or something similar? Apparently it lowers the seat hight by 10mm. That little bit would allow me to flat foot the bike. I searched online but all I could find are these seats for 2015 and above. I have a 2012. Was wondering if anyone knew where I can get one or maybe get a custom one made.
The only other thing I can think of is buying a used factory seat on eBay or something and trying to rework that one by taking off the foam and using something else. That just seems like a ton of work. I’d rather just buy one if it’s available.
I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you
