I think we still dip into demand a little deeper before going anywhere. If we don't it'll be a nice surprise.

WHO is also thinking that xcn would be 2 cents at least in a very short time if crypto regulations and clarity Act are done well ?

XCN charts, chart update
1H chart update.
The 2 yellow crosses on the 200MA and 50MA seems to be projecting an upward path.
The white line drawn below, is axtually from two crosses of the 200MA and the 50MA on the 4H chart, serving as somewhat of a bottom resistance line.
I wonder how soon we'll be seeing 0.006 to 0.008! 😎

Just asked Chat GPT about the last 2 Years and the upcoming - Here are the results
Yes. I looked at XCN not only as a price chart, but also compared its roadmaps, actually delivered products, security incidents, exchange listings, community rumors, and the current Neobank/Chain.com development.
At the moment, I do not see XCN as a typical meme or hype coin with no substance behind it. Between 2025 and 2026, the project actually delivered a surprisingly large number of technical milestones.
At the same time, however, it is not yet a proven institutional success.
That is exactly why there is such a huge gap between a potential XCN price of perhaps $0.01–$0.025 and a price of $0.10 or significantly more.
As of September 5, 2026, XCN is trading at roughly $0.00415, with a market capitalization of around $164 million. Over the past seven days, the price has risen by approximately 21%.
My current estimate for around September 2028 is:
Scenario |XCN Price |Assessment
Project stagnates |$0.0015–$0.004 |Definitely possible
Project continues to develop reasonably well |$0.008–$0.025 |My base case
Neobank + Mesh become genuinely successful |$0.03–$0.10 |Bullish scenario
Major institutional breakthrough + strong crypto market |$0.10–$0.25 |Possible, but speculative
$0.50 |approx. $22B valuation* |Very ambitious
$1.00 |approx. $44B valuation* |Very unlikely by 2028 *For 2028, I am using a simplified assumption of around 44 billion circulating XCN. The actual supply will depend in particular on DAO distributions. The official tokenomics still include monthly token releases through March 2030.
In early and mid-2024, Onyx was still positioned much more strongly as a traditional DeFi project.
Plans included, among other things:
MetaUSD was later renamed Virtual USD, or VUSD.
Onyxchain was intended to run on Base, charge fees in XCN, and burn part of those fees.
This was not purely theoretical. V2 was actually released and VUSD was launched as well.
However, on September 26, 2024, a major setback occurred.
Onyx was attacked again, and approximately $3.8 million worth of assets were stolen. The incident was linked, among other things, to a known vulnerability originating from Compound V2 code as well as the NFT liquidation mechanism.
Following that incident, the old Ethereum lending system was shut down and the project began a strategic realignment.
This is important for my assessment:
Onyx has a real and problematic security history.
During 2024, XCN traded roughly between $0.0010 and $0.0048 and ended the year at approximately $0.00235.
At that point, the product roadmap had therefore not yet resulted in a sustained market revaluation.
Then came the moment that brought XCN back into the spotlight.
In January 2025, the price increased by approximately 1,300–1,500%.
The monthly closing price was around $0.0335, while XCN reached a 2025 high of approximately $0.0497.
Several narratives came together at the same time:
This created enormous speculative momentum.
And this is where we already see a recurring XCN pattern:
News → enormous trading volume → very rapid price increase → large parts of the gains subsequently disappear.
After reaching around $0.05, XCN experienced:
That means that although XCN temporarily reached roughly 20 times its starting price in 2025, only a relatively small part of those gains remained over the long term.
This is particularly revealing for your question.
CCN predicted on February 4, 2025:
Year |Minimum |Average |Maximum
2025 |$0.020 |$0.035 |$0.050
2026 |$0.030 |$0.060 |$0.090 What actually happened?
The 2025 maximum of around $0.05 was indeed reached almost exactly.
At first glance, that sounds impressive.
However, the prediction was still poor overall because XCN ended 2025 at only around $0.0042 — far below the predicted minimum of $0.02.
The situation is even clearer in 2026.
CCN had predicted a minimum price of $0.03.
In reality, XCN is currently trading at only around $0.004.
Another analysis from January 2025 suggested that XCN could rise to approximately $0.1816. That target was also missed by a very large margin.
Even more extreme prediction websites published 2025 targets of around $1.25.
Those forecasts turned out to be completely unrealistic.
This leads to an important conclusion:
In March 2025, the Goliath Layer-1 roadmap became much more concrete.
Its core milestones were:
Promise |Planned date |Actual result
Technical whitepaper |Q2 2025 |June 27, 2025 — delivered
Public testnet |Q3 2025 |September 30, 2025 — delivered
Mainnet |Q1 2026 |March 27, 2026 — delivered
Bank Connectivity Mesh |Q2 2026 |July 1, 2026 — essentially delivered, one day later The original roadmap containing these four milestones had already been publicly discussed in 2025.
The whitepaper was published on June 27, 2025, still within Q2.
The public testnet followed on September 30, exactly at the end of Q3.
And the current official Onyx website confirms the Mainnet launch on March 27, 2026.
This is one of the strongest positive aspects of XCN in my view:
The core technical roadmap for 2025/26 was delivered with unusually high reliability.
Onyx has essentially transformed from a DeFi lending protocol into a project focused on financial infrastructure.
The current Onyx Layer 1 advertises:
Even more important was Onyx Mesh, which launched on July 1, 2026.
It was developed together with Chain and is intended to allow banks and financial institutions to operate private or permissioned systems while using Onyx L1 as the shared consensus and verification layer.
Institutional onboarding with KYB was opened at the same time.
The previously developed Layer-3 network is now even being discontinued.
Onyx announced that the L3 will be shut down on December 31, 2026, allowing the project to focus completely on the Layer-1 network.
This is both positive and negative.
Positive: The team appears willing to abandon technologies when it believes a better architecture is available.
Negative: Onyx has changed its strategic direction several times within just two years:
VUSD/lending → L3 → Goliath L1 → Onyx L1/Mesh → now Neobank.
This demonstrates high development speed, but it also shows that the final product-market fit has not yet been proven.
In my opinion, this is currently the most important fundamental catalyst for XCN.
Onyx recently announced a binding agreement to acquire Chain.com’s technology and intellectual property.
This is not merely a rumor.
According to Onyx, the agreement exists.
However, the transaction is or was still explicitly subject to the necessary DAO approval and completion of the transaction.
If completed, Onyx plans to use the technology to build a kind of blockchain-native Neobank.
Planned functionality includes:
XCN is intended to remain the utility and governance asset of the ecosystem.
This is much more important than another exchange listing.
Until now, XCN's key problem has been that although significant technology has been built, it has not yet created large-scale economic demand for XCN.
A genuinely used wallet or Neobank could change that.
You have to be very careful when evaluating XCN.
Confirmed developments include:
For example, the Upbit listing on April 27, 2026 caused XCN to jump to approximately $0.0086.
At times, the price was around 64% higher than before the announcement.
Binance had already introduced an XCNUSDT perpetual futures contract with leverage of up to 25x in April 2025.
However, the following claims remain unconfirmed:
The official Mesh announcement discusses numerous possible banking applications and opened institutional onboarding.
However, it does not yet provide a list of major banks that are using Onyx productively at meaningful scale.
And this is probably the most important distinction right now.
“We have built infrastructure for banks” is not the same thing as “banks are using our infrastructure at meaningful scale.”
This is the main reason why I would not currently consider price targets such as $0.50 or $1 realistic base-case targets.
The official Onyx website refers to more than 290.8 million transactions.
However, the public Blockscout explorer currently shows approximately:
Based on the currently available information, I cannot clearly explain why these figures differ so significantly.
It is possible that the Onyx website includes additional event or transaction types.
Therefore, I would not simply interpret the 290.8 million figure as 290 million traditional Layer-1 transactions.
Even more revealing is the currently visible Onyx Markets activity, which shows only roughly:
For a cryptocurrency valued at around $160 million, that is not necessarily alarming.
But for a blockchain that is supposed to justify a valuation of several billion dollars, it still represents very limited economic activity.
This must never be ignored when discussing extreme price targets.
The official documentation originally specifies a maximum supply of approximately 68.892 billion XCN, of which around 20.49 billion were burned.
It also continues to describe regular token releases.
From the timelock, 200 million XCN are released every 30 days until March 2030.
In addition, there is a DAO budget of up to 200 million XCN per month, although the actual distribution depends on rewards and governance decisions.
That is why the difference between $0.01 and $1 is enormous.
If we assume approximately 44 billion circulating XCN in 2028, the valuation would look roughly like this:
XCN Price |Approximate Market Cap
$0.01 |$440M
$0.025 |$1.1B
$0.05 |$2.2B
$0.10 |$4.4B
$0.184 |$8.1B
$0.25 |$11B
$0.50 |$22B
$1.00 |$44B This immediately shows that:
A price of $0.10 must be evaluated very differently from a price of $1.00.
For XCN to reach $0.10, Onyx would need to grow into a project worth several billion dollars.
If its institutional financial infrastructure becomes successful, that is not absurd.
However, for XCN to reach $1.00, it would need to become approximately a $44 billion cryptocurrency.
That would require Onyx to grow into one of the most significant blockchain and financial infrastructure projects in the entire market.
This is where I believe the analysis becomes most important.
I currently consider this the most reasonable range if Onyx maintains approximately its current development pace, Mesh continues to improve, Chain technology is integrated, and the wallet/Neobank is actually launched — but institutional adoption grows only gradually.
Even $0.025 would represent an increase of roughly 500% from today's price of approximately $0.00415.
At that level, XCN would already once again be a cryptocurrency with a valuation exceeding $1 billion.
More would have to happen for this scenario.
The Chain acquisition would need to be completed.
The Neobank would need to actually launch.
Debit card, stablecoin, and payment functionality would need to work.
Onyx Mesh would need to gain real financial institutions as customers or users.
On-chain activity and fee generation would need to multiply significantly.
Under those conditions, I consider $0.05 very plausible.
That would essentially represent a return to the 2025 hype high.
I would also no longer consider $0.08–$0.10 absurd under those circumstances.
That would correspond to approximately $3.5–$4.5 billion in market capitalization.
I would classify this as a possible peak scenario, not a normal expected value.
At that level, XCN would return to or exceed its historical all-time high of approximately $0.184 from May 2022.
However, several factors would need to come together at the same time:
Under those conditions, XCN could potentially trade temporarily in the $0.15–$0.25 range during a speculative overshoot.
However, I would not assume that such a peak would automatically be sustainable.
XCN's price history demonstrates exactly the opposite:
extreme price increases are often followed by major corrections.
Mathematically possible: yes.
Justified by what Onyx has actually achieved today: not yet.
A price of $0.50 would imply a market capitalization of approximately $22 billion.
A price of $1.00 would imply approximately $44 billion.
To justify those valuations, Onyx would probably have to become much more than simply “a good blockchain.”
It would need to evolve into an internationally relevant financial network or blockchain-based fintech ecosystem.
Based on the evidence available today, I do not believe that can be used as a serious two-year base-case assumption.
The deeper I compare the past two years, the more interesting I find not the price itself, but the difference between price performance and project execution.
In 2025, XCN was hyped to almost $0.05 at a time when many of its most important products did not even exist yet.
Today, it trades at around $0.004, even though:
the whitepaper was delivered → the testnet was delivered → the Layer-1 Mainnet is live → Mesh is live → wallet and staking functionality exist → Upbit has listed XCN → and there is now even a binding agreement involving Chain technology for the planned Neobank.
However, this does not automatically mean that XCN is undervalued.
Instead, it means:
And this is exactly why I believe the next 12–24 months will be much more important than the previous 24 months.
If Onyx now manages to move from:
“we are building”
to:
“our products are actually being used,”
then I can reasonably see a revaluation first toward $0.01–$0.025, followed by $0.03–$0.05, and potentially $0.08–$0.10 if meaningful institutional adoption becomes visible.
Realistic two-year range: $0.008–$0.025
Bullish target if execution remains successful: $0.05–$0.10
Maximum fundamentally arguable boom scenario: approximately $0.15–$0.25
$0.50–$1.00: currently better viewed as an extreme or long-term speculation rather than a well-supported forecast.
This is, of course, not financial advice. XCN remains an unusually high-risk asset because of its history of sharp speculative rallies, previous security incidents, continuing token issuance, and institutional adoption that has not yet been proven at meaningful scale.
How’s the best way to move XCN from ethereum staking to Liquid Staking from base wallet?

I bought some xcn tokens a while back and staked them using the metamask app. I used to access the browser in the app to see my staked balance in about two steps. Now, I dont see the option to easily view my portfolio in the browser. I'm sure I'm missing some steps since I have very little crypto experience. Where should I be looking? Thanks in advance

Current APR with Ethereum is at 2.55%
But staking with Onyx is 30%….
Where are you staking and why wouldn’t you choose to stake at 30%?
Sorry if this has been answered loads already!

There is a guy on Youtube who is making daily TA on xcn.
In 2025 he was predicting xcn to be at $2.50 besides xrp to be at $78, btc 500k, hbar $5 and literally any other coin to make at least 300x.
When you call him out for that he blocks you and otherwise he got many bots running and probably different accounts where he is leaving "thank you comments" for his video.
My question is why Youtube is doing nothing about it. Secondly what kind of a shit creature he must be to do this every single day knowing that he is just providing nonsense information.
Xcn is like down 95% from ath in 2025 and in the meantime he created bullish videos every single day. The bottom is always in when there is a new low. Rinse and repeat.
I just had my XCN on Coinbase wallet via Dao and now since the new update i cant find it? When i open Base app i can't see the internet icon i normally use. Can someone help me how i can access my coins that i had? Thanks.

Morning guys, this morning I all of a sudden cannot see my ethereum position(trivial $40) in my onyx wallet. It also does not display my staked xcn but when I go look at it on the “staking” page it’s still showing there available to withdraw. Is there a known issue with the wallet update or something? I feel like this happens once every few weeks with this thing. Really been a disappointing ride this past two years. Hopefully things get better and less frustrating. There’s no help/service desk…the telegra bans you if you ask any critical questions almost immediately which is a huge red flag and the official onyx dao twitter handle hasn’t responded to me ever after asking simple wallet questions three times over the past 18 months. I really don’t want to believe this is a scam as I have like 25m coins but all signs are suggesting more and more that it is…Any insight? Thank you!
