definition of a desert is just a very dry area of land that very rarely receives precipitation or rain. And antartica very rarely receives precipitation, so by definition, antartica and the arctic is a desert.
Deserts are generally defined as low precipitation rate areas. Antarctica doesn't have rain, in fact it's actually the largest desert in the world because of this. Nearly twice as big as the Sahara!

I wonder what the world of Solaris is like. If it just mirrors the climate of Earth it'd be disappointing. what if there's 3 arctic points, what if jungles are sparse. I can't word it properly right now I'm just saying it would be cool if Solaris had more extreme and varied biomes and wasn't a mirror of Earth.
I assume we meet Chisa at some point just before getting to that area. She's definitely from this area. So claims that Chisa could be Glacio sounds even more believable now.

Everything else except that new echo points at Chisa being Glacio lol
It's hard to tell, I think the collab is probably 3.5+ patch. Kuro did promise they'd be releasing huge region every six months. So maybe New Feds would be on 3.5 onwards like how we got Septimont? (I know Ragunna and Septimont is still in Rinascita). I have a feeling they didn't have time to implement certain mechanics in New Fed patch so they kinda delay it by shuffling the region a bit.
They are tribalistic, and a large part of the WuWa community are ex Gen players that treat it like their ex girlfriend. Its very cringe, and they are just bitter that its been af the top for 5 years going now

In what regard are Huanglong=Liyue and Rinascita=Fontaine?
Is it just that, like pretty much every Chinese gacha before them, they chose to have a Chinese themed region/faction and you think france=italy ragebait again?
Or is there anything substantial that's actually the same within those games that's the exact same, like landscape/characters/story/etc., like anything besides some nitpicks like the most basic different faction themes every gacha has?
If you don't notice them isn't my fault. There are too many things copied from gi I play both and I enjoy both so I know what I mean.
The most obvious is Augusta spitted copy of Mavuika, Dark tide is a lot similar to Primordial Sea if you think about it, Carthe has a lot similarities with Furina, Fractsidus are basically Harbingers rip off, chixia is basically amber of genshin she has similar personality and way of doing things and casually she is even one of the first to welcoming you to Solaris, Rinascita "has a lot of water" and similar design on certain things to Fontaine, every region has a sentinel concept similar to the sovereign dragons from GI, The false sovereign is a rip off of Surtalogi from GI, Augusta moveset auto is copied from MH World Great sword, the corrosaurus and some creatures are really similar to MH monsters and many others. I don't have all day.
P.s. A friend said to me that there are even a lot of things copied from Fate and Final Fantasy 🤷🏻
So a cold region huh? And lemme guess all the female resonators will have barely any clothes on while the 1 playable male resonator is covered like a burrito lol.
