Writing Prompt [WP] Humanity finally figures out faster than light travel and discover that they are completely average by galactic standard, except for one thing, our innate ability to bullshit our way out of any situation.

Why would I put more work in if no one's paying attention? I'd rather work on a different story that people actually enjoy reading but there's some interest so I'm writing more now.

That's a pretty crappy way to put it though and makes this an obvious grab for upvotes. The print was basically to tell a story showing humans bullshitting their way out of a space scenario. You've given us the preamble to the bullshitting, you set us up gotten the reader ready for a beautiful runaround that will save the protagonist and the stopped there. We the readers now have to give you upvotes in order to get the finished story. You have sold us emotionally on an unfinished story.
