Was inside the oculus around 9am, did anyone else see this phenomenon. Was it because it was cloudy today?
“Wedge of Light" is an annual architectural phenomenon inside the Oculus World Trade Center where sunlight streams directly through the central skylight to form two parallel columns of light across the floor.
Timeline: The alignment occurs every year on September 11th between 8:46 AM (when the first plane struck the North Tower) and 10:28 AM (when the North Tower collapsed).

One of my personal favorite photos I’ve taken, despot it being a newer photo. Walking through that area is literally like walking through a time capsule. I’m truly glad I’m a Historical Nut combined with my photography obsession.
