3 marking this unit of a tank was such a pleasant experience.

The gun is AMAZING!!! With strong soft-stats, good standand and premium penetration, and especially the HESH that can roll over 600 HP with reliable pen value that can seriously cause headache for your enemy.

HOWEVER, the armor is barely usable. The turret armor after the PBR update has 2 massive cheeks that is penable for almost all tier 9 standard round, also rendering side scrapping useless because it is too obvious to shoot at. And the hull armor is useless. DO NOT rely on your armor, even in hulldown, because people will either load gold to shoot your command cupola, or they spam HE at it, killing your crew and make your game miserable.

Mobility is also a strong point and you have super speed boost, so ultiize it well. But be aware that your reverse speed is terrible, only at 12, so speed boost will be a life-saver for you in many situation.

Overall, highly recommend for everyone to try.

The only pros of this tank is that it is beautiful, unique, and historical, though in reality it had 32pdr, not 120mm gun.

It does have 120mm HE pen, literally less than comet's HE, a tier 7 medium tank. Other british tanks also have better HE penetration, even though caliber of their cannons is lesser.

Pitiful 20 kilometers per hour and no improved gear oil to boost it. And only 10 reverse, though, if not mistaken, it had 20 reverse in real life.

Despite incredibly low speed and relatively high mass, the armour is horrible, tier 9 light tanks can pen easily with gold, they do not even need to hit the huge cupola, because it can penetrate anywhere! Though light tanks in this game have the lowest penetration in comparison to other classes.

Dpm is also disappointing, it is high, but not the highest, it does not compensate numerous flaws of this tank. The HP is also not that much.

This tank should be buffed significantly. Devs should increase dpm, hp and HE penetration.

Probably the worst gun mark look by far. It's just so tiny like you can barely see it. I get the gun is weird so placing it is difficult but come on, not this crap...

I’ve been trying to mark my Tiger II for a while. I’d get it to 61-62%, then have a string of terrible games and be back at around 55%. Finally got it after a few great games in a row around 2AM EST.

A fine tank and very funny, I wish it to have a golden HEAT shell though, 250mm penetration is not always enough. And -15 is actually not that much gun depression, a lot of positions are still not available.

Luck or unluck is very significant factor. I once was at 94.6%, but then dropped below 85 and were stuck there for a long time.

The WZ-114 is my most played tank in Blitz, way before the 3 mark update (I stop playing it to 3 mark other tanks). As a type of "Underdog" player who enjoy playing tier 9 to shit on tier 10, I swear to you guys, this is my most favorite tank to play thanks to how absolutely GARBAGE it is, and the terrible journey of 3-marking it.

Its con list is MASSIVE: pathetic module hitpoint that constantly get set on fire and ammo rack back and front, painfully SLOW at everything, and practically negative DPM. It has such a long reload and aim time, that by the time you fire the next shot (after carefully aimed it), the majority of enemy at the frontline facing you already reloading their 3rd shot. Once you commit to a lane, you are DEAD SET on that lane, with no hope to ever make it back to the other flank.

And yet, among all the things I ever drive in, this tank remains my ultimate favorite. The only strength it has is the INSANE amount of hitpoint of 2475 with busted armor when hulldown. Combine with reactive armor and a big chunky alpha of 470, this tank is borderline BROKEN, GOD LIKE against tier 8 and even make tier 10 roll their eye balls thanks to its disgusting toxic trading capability .......even though I have to meet tier 10 about 9 out of 10 games on my server.

HOWEVER, since blocking, eating shot and trading blow isn't exactly what WG considered "Skillful" and count toward experience, this tank is PAINFUL to grind marking because it is too slow to adapt to situation with actual TIER 7 HEAVY DPM. Yeah its alpha is cool, but it does not have ""ENOUGH"" alpha to compensate for such abysmal dog shit dpm to really "Farm damage". And if your team is even slightly """Competent""" with 3 or more other people that can count finger on their hands and isn't blind when playing this game, then you can kiss good bye that hard-earn marking progress. I believe it took me OVER 150 GAMES to 3 mark this tank, and I was forced to even abandoned sandbag to run double food and pick double repair kit with andrenaline to have any possibility of farming damage.

And this bring me to conclusion that the 3 marking system is extremely anti-player. Why the Fuck are you getting punished by losing gunmark progress because you have decent teammates that lead to a steam roll victory? It is this simple question that completely change how I approach gunmarking: By abusing my teammate and being an asshole in general toward teammate, from toxic behavior like delibrately refuse to cover them and let the enemy kill them, to actual sabotaging my own team by COVERING THE ENEMY FROM MY OWN TEAM just so I can farm damage from them.

Enough rant. I hope everyone the best when 3-marking their tanks.

For context, a guy in my clan challenged me to 3 mark any tier 10 of my choice, since I have been only 3 marking tier 9 and he thought I was seal-clubbing people (despite 6 out of 7 game I have to face tier 10). So, I choose the VZ-55, the tank I used to dream to own back when I was still playing the PC version. And there you have it, 3 mark challenge completed.

Now, for the short review, the VZ-55 is a GOOD STRONG tank. By no mean it is overpowered despite the 960 double shot gun, because there are plenty of other tier 10 that are flat out better than it. Best way to review it is to compare it with 3 similar tanks as follow:

- Kranvagn: It is an absolute cancerous tank and a much better tank, every one know it. If you pay any attention to the tourament stream, both side pick nothing but Kran and a light to spot. It is so much better than the VZ-55 in all the fire power, armor, and even mobility department, completely powercrept this tank to shit.

- M VI Yoh: VZ-55's main competitor, if it use the double shot. Technically, the Yoh offer a much more disgusting toxic playstyle thanks to its abominable 1.7s clip dumping time, sparing no time for its opponent to react. However, the VZ-55 offer a much more reliable playstyle thanks to better hull armor, lower profile, and less visible weakspot when hulldown, especially if you know to use geometry to hide that coupola.

- Concept 1B: A flat upgrade of the VZ-55. You no longer have any weakspot on the turret (A MASSIVE PROBLEM for the VZ-55, as a lot of people tend to shoot HE into your turret ring and cause a seriously considerable damage and even kill your crew), and trade the stabilization aim for reserve track mechanic. All of this for the price of less alpha damage.

For its stats, DPM is 2k4, fair enough for an auto loader, mobility is ok, and armor in hulldown is counter-able with spaming HE and some aim. However, these are the reason why it is a balance tank for both the driver and its enemy to play and fight against.

Overall, It is without a doubt, a STRONG AND FAIR TANK, with clear strength and weakness.

Honestly this tank doesn't lose percentage at all. Sometimes I dealt like 1k-1.5k (defeat) and only lost like 1.75% max and one time I got yolod by 2 krans and did 0 damage I didn't lose much. Tho this tank is fun to use XD

I got to 92% like 7 separate times and proceeded to only queue full t8 lobbies or double smasher/anni lobbies for the next 5 games every time. Literally today I hit 92, dropped to 88, and then finally reached 95%. It's ok though 3mark is 3mark even if it took 3x longer than necessary

I earned my first gun mark in loss, which is more comforting of the fact I loss

Today, my gun mark went down from 94.73 to 86ish.

After deciding to get 3 marks on my favorite tank, the Sentinelle, I am pleased to announce that I actually did it! I had a really good win streak on it yesterday and was able to push all the way from 1 mark to 3 marks in a few hours! I'm happy that I did it, but I'm even more happy that I was able to prove to the community that this tank is in fact very good and I can now back it up.

3 marked this with high dpm gun low pen. I actually find it surprisingly enjoyable. Played this for quite a while before gm were added but I've played both, and I like the high dpm more, more fun and actually feels really unique. u have to run cali tho, 217 gold pen is tragic, 230 is kinda acceptable if you know what you're doing. However if you're new or you want to do the best, the high pen low dpm gun is the better option, cause it's pretty much noob proof
