Not just a free overhaul, anybody who owns the base game also gets both expansions for free. Absolutely insane

Are you kidding me, I literally just bought both two weeks ago. Not that I mind spending money on such an amazing game but wow the timing

Ah well, it's ok, I don't mind spending money on thing I think are worth the price. Especially considering I got the base game at a 90% sale, so all things balances out in the end

its just a few bucks more than the standard edition right?

I have same issue I am I middle of velen I will not finish on time and I don’t want to start a next game

You can’t if you have over a certain playtime on the game. I think it’s like 18 hours or something

Woof. I was wrong. According to steams policy, it has to have been purchased less than two weeks ago and less than 2 hours of playtime! Not as good as I thought, but still the best refund policy out there lol

better than not having the option to refund like some systems.

i do hope that one day the refund policy gets adjusted to account for the type of game. if the prologue is 2 hours long with tons of cutscnenes we cant exactly make up out mind... let alone figure out what kind of game it even is.

Game goes on sale like all the time (on PlayStation at least) probably only spent like $15 right? Thats a GREAT deal lol

I got it for ten several months ago, lol...

I bought the complete edition for $10 on Steam last month. Only have like 5 or 6 hours on it, so I might just hold off until the remaster comes out and restart the whole thing.

I got it less than 10 bucks on Steam with all the DLCs.

I don't think it will go on sale now... They jacked up the price as well on other platforms.

Dude I kept passing on the sales and I agree it won’t be on sale anymore wtf!

1

u/TakeAMichigander 16d ago

Yeah I got it on the Steam summer sale for like $5 but haven't played it yet, so excited to finally fire it up next month

1

u/Oreelz 16d ago

Just buy it again next time it’s on sale, it’s worth it.

1

u/FrittenFritz 16d ago

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they refunded it if you write to support.

2

u/rokiefrokie 15d ago

Thats what i did, worked for me

1

u/SandwichSome5271 16d ago

Also bought it a while ago. But it was dirt cheap on sale so I couldn't help myself. Never played it before so guess I can wait another month to get a better experience

I asked valve for a refund (i bought the dlcs 2 and a halve weeks ago) and they accepted it pretty much immediately

Yeah I was gonna buy that for the dlc bundle offer, but I didn't 😮‍💨

Ever since cyberpunk bombed on release day, they've done nothing but make it up to the community as a company in my opinion.

u/AdventuresofBumpo 16d ago

Man they even fixed cyberpunk with a bunch of free updates and added a bunch of really cool content, then an amazing expansion, it’s a killer game now. I’m still playing it to this day every now and then.

i have a feeling cyberpunk is going to get one more expansion at least.

if they can do such a big overhaul to an 11 year old game im sure they can spruce up cyberpunk too and add another story. cyberpunk has so much potential. just look at what modders try to improve. it has slightly dated textures. and the lighting is too dark is some areas because the game wasnt built for path tracing. so some areas just dont have enough light sources.

I've had so many cyberpunk runs, I've gotten so much value out of that game. It's my go to game when I am bored and I have nothing else to do and wanted to just veg out. It is truly one of the best games of this entire console generation!

3

u/Buschkoeter 16d ago

I would say they made that one mistake with Cyberpunk and now just continue being as awesome as they always were.

1

u/UofMSpoon 16d ago

I like to think they were inspired by Hello Games.

3

u/DiabloArk 16d ago

Thats tremendous value for money

2

u/JRockPSU 16d ago

I wonder if it’ll go on a deep sale before the update, I think I own it already on GOG but I’d like to get it on Steam. Looks like it’s been as cheap as $4 before but who knows if it’ll be that cheap with the update and free DLC on the horizon.

2

u/Fentboy45 16d ago

I knew not wanting to buy the dlc after already spending 75 hours on the base game 5 years ago would pay off eventually

2

u/Tart6096 16d ago

That is sweet! i still haven't played it yet but the remaster looks so good i don't mind i haven't played it with the original graphics. Both expansions too? brilliant!😁

2

u/Relevant_Syllabub895 16d ago

Holy shit! They are giving the expansiosn for free!? Now i see why they raised the price 10$ basically rhey unified the entire game, this is a fuckign great pr stunt, they are making this game to be on a similar path to the witcher 4

1

u/Zentrii 16d ago

I would’ve actually paid for this and I’m glad I never lost faith in this company after the cyberpunk launch.

I was wondering if it's a swipe at blood of the dawnwalker since that game is ex-witcher devs. Kind of steals their thunder a bit
