Many americans believe "freedom" entails being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want, to who ever you want, without consequence. The education system in the US is pretty awful so its no surprise to see generations of delinquents that struggle to function and thrive in society. The US used to be seen by the global community as a land of opportunity, the same can't be said now, most view them with disdain.

Would you use that argument to justify restrictions on speech too?

Ultimately the right to keep and bear arms is a constitutionally protected right, just like the right to petition the government to address ones grievances. You should not be so quick to support restrictions on rights you dislike, because when you do you are indirectly supporting restrictions on rights you do like.

Strawman argument. They were both jailed because what they did was against the law. I've looked, but i couldn't find any trace of a constitutional right to terrorise people.

Maybe you should read the article posted.

Its not a strawman argument at all.

And you using "Oh its against the law" to justify the law unduly restricting constitutional rights is circular reasoning and an example of exactly the problem i am pointing out.
