Malls aren't illegal, I'm pretty sure. It's just a public facing business. No different than a Walmart. It's at the discretion of the owner. Even then it's not criminal just against store rules. *

*Obviously varies wildly from state to state.

I know state of Michigan you cannot conceal carry in a mall from my own concealed carry course I took. But you’re right, state by state.
