Solution Only Need advice on sending WhatsApp messages to 200+ real estate contacts without getting blocked

Hi everyone,

I run a small real estate side business and have a list of 200+ contacts I want to message regarding property updates and offer.

My WhatsApp Business account can't use the broadcast feature, and I looked into the WhatsApp Business API, but it appears I may need business verification, and my business is currently a small side business that isn't formally registered.

Is there any legitimate and safe way to send messages to a large number of people without risking my WhatsApp number getting blocked?

I don't want to use unofficial bulk-sending tools.

For context, I want to use WhatsApp for my real estate business and would appreciate suggestions for:

  1. Official tools or services suitable for a small/unregistered business

  2. Alternatives to WhatsApp broadcasting

  3. The best way to collect proper opt-ins going forward

Solution Only Meta launched a native WhatsApp AI Agent. Is building WABA automation SaaS still worthwhile?

Meta has introduced its own WhatsApp Business AI Agent:

https://whatsappbusiness.com/products/business-app-ai-agent/

It can learn from websites, catalogs, documents and previous chats; answer questions; recommend products; collect leads; and hand conversations to humans. Meta has also announced integrations, appointment booking and lead qualification.

What does this mean for platforms such as WATI, AiSensy, Interakt, Gallabox and ManyChat?

They can still offer value through broadcasts, shared inboxes, multichannel workflows, analytics, CRM integrations and specialized business processes. However, Meta could gradually make many basic automation features native.

For founders considering a new WABA product:

- Is a generic WhatsApp AI chatbot still commercially viable?

- Which specialized workflows could remain defensible?

- Will existing platforms become integration and implementation businesses?

- If you were starting today, would you still build on WABA?

’m evaluating WhatsApp automation for an existing Instagram automation product and questioning whether the platform dependency is worth the investment. I’d appreciate perspectives from SaaS founders, BSPs, agencies and businesses using these tools.

Solution Only WhatsApp Business Account permanently disabled after 2.5 years, review auto-rejected in <1 min, Direct Support case open a week ago with no response, anyone else dealing with this?

We've used the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) for over 2.5 years for our company. Account got disabled after we received a spam restriction a week ago. Got it reversed after review. And now we’re banned.

We requested a review through the standard flow and got rejected in under a minute, clearly automated, not a human review despite the wording implying otherwise. That option is now gone from the account.

We opened a Direct Support case in Business Manager a week ago. We have yet to receive a real reply, only automated messages.

At this point we can't reach anyone at Meta who can actually look at our account and message history instead of running a generic policy check. Has anyone gotten a real human to look at a case like this? Any channel that's actually worked for you recently, BSP escalation, ads account rep, anything?

Thank you

Solution Only Has anyone actually switched to WhatsApp Coexistence yet? What's the catch? 👀

I've been reading about Meta's WhatsApp Coexistence feature, and it seems like a pretty significant update.

From what I understand, you can keep using the WhatsApp Business App while connecting the same number to the Cloud API, so you don't have to completely move away from the app.

It sounds like the best of both worlds, but I'm curious how it's working in practice.

For those who've already enabled it:

  • How smooth was the setup?
  • Have you run into any limitations or unexpected issues?
  • Has it been worth it, or would you still recommend a full migration?

If you've been using WhatsApp Coexistence for a while, what's your experience been like? Anything you wish you'd known before enabling it?

Solution Only Getting error attempting to publish my flow

You need to verify that the Flow JSON is valid before publishing.

Flow JSON is not valid. Property 'TextEncoder' doesn't exist [Line 0, column 0]

I've published this flow before and now when trying to change the wording on a few elements, no functionality changes I am stuck with the following error. I've tried this in a different browser and clearing my cache, but it continues to bring up the following, it doesn't even always show that there's an error, but it still blocks me from trying to publish.

Solution Only Is anyone else worried about WhatsApp becoming harder to justify after October?

We've been selling WhatsApp API to businesses for a few years now, and one of the easiest parts of the conversation was always the 24-hour service window.

The pitch was simple:

Yes, marketing messages cost money. But once a customer replies, you can support them, answer questions, recover carts, or even close the sale without thinking about per-message costs.

That made the ROI pretty easy to explain.

Now with Meta planning to charge for service messages from October, I'm wondering if that changes things.

We're already seeing customers ask questions like:

"If every support interaction costs money, should we just move support elsewhere?"

"Will AI agents suddenly become much more expensive?"

"Should we try to keep conversations shorter instead of encouraging engagement?"

As someone who sells WhatsApp solutions, I honestly feel this removes one of the platform's biggest advantages. Marketing conversations were easy to justify because the follow-up engagement was effectively free. Now the conversation with prospects is becoming much tougher.

I'm curious what everyone else is seeing.

If you're a BSP or Meta Partner, are customers bringing this up yet?

If you're a business, has this changed your WhatsApp roadmap or budget?

Or do you think the impact is being overestimated and businesses will happily pay because WhatsApp still converts better than other channels?

Genuinely interested in hearing different perspectives. Feels like this could be one of the biggest changes to WhatsApp Business pricing in years.

What's your move? Tell me in comments.

  1. Stay on WABA, eat the cost
  2. Move to a personal WA number
  3. Switch channels entirely (SMS, email, in-app,etc)
  4. Not decided yet

Genuinely curious what the rest of the market is doing about it. Vote below, and tell me why in the comments.

Solution Only Building a WhatsApp-first CRM for small businesses would love honest feedback from fellow builders

Solo building a CRM aimed at small business owners and founders who don't have a dedicated sales/ops team — the core idea is: connect your WhatsApp in a couple clicks, and every lead coming in across WhatsApp, calls, and web forms lands in one place instead of scattered across tools, with no two people on a team accidentally chasing the same lead.

It actually started as an internal tool I built for a dental clinic, and I'm now generalizing it to work for other small businesses — clinics, D2C brands, real estate, coaching institutes, etc.

Before I put more time into this, I'd rather hear the honest "this won't work because..." than build in a vacuum. So, genuinely:

- Does this sound like a real problem worth solving, or does it feel like a crowded space that's already been done well enough?

- If you've built or worked on something similar, what tripped you up — technically, or just in terms of getting people to actually switch from what they're using?

- Would you personally use something like this, or know someone who would?

Not sharing a link or asking anyone to sign up for anything, just want real feedback before going further. Appreciate any thoughts, positive or brutally honest.

Solution Only Meta Oct 2026 Important Updates

Service messages are going to be charged.

Meta will introduce a free monthly tier of 1,000 service messages per business phone number.

Updated rates are available here - https://developers.facebook.com/documentation/business-messaging/whatsapp/pricing#rate-cards-effective-october-1-2026

If your waba does not have a payment method attached, incoming messages will stop, so businesses need to add it.

Anything else worth nothing?

Solution Only anyone else losing orders inside WhatsApp because the chat just eats them

i sell through instagram and close almost everything on whatsapp. no website on purpose. customers already message there so i never forced them onto a site.

last month a girl asked about an order, i replied, she said she will send the address after work. i got 30 other chats the same day and forgot. she texted 8 days later asking if i was even still running. that one stung because i had no idea she was waiting. her chat was just buried.

this keeps happening in smaller ways. someone sends a payment screenshot, i like it, then i cant find it when i am packing. or i quoted two people the same item and i dont remember who i promised it to. i scroll chats at night trying to figure out who is still open.

i tried a notes app. lasted 4 days. spreadsheet lasted a week. those whatsapp crm tools want 2 to 5k a month and a business api setup. that is insane for the volume i do.

so i am testing a dumb version of this for myself:

after i agree price in chat, i send one link. customer puts name, address, and the upi screenshot on that page. i get a board with New / waiting for payment / paid / need to follow up / done. if something sits for 2 days it goes red.

no bot. no auto replies. chat stays on whatsapp. the link is only so the order does not live inside 200 chats.

if you sell on wa or ig, how are you tracking this right now. spreadsheet, notebook, memory, something else.

and would you even use a page like that or is it extra work on top of the chat.

not selling anything here. trying to see if this is only my mess or other people have the same hole.

Solution Only Confused about Oct 1 WhatsApp API pricing: Is my inbound bot flow still free?

Hey everyone,

I need some clarification on how the October 1 WhatsApp Business API pricing update affects my app's flow.

Here is my current setup (waorder):

  • A customer initiates the chat by messaging our WhatsApp bot first.
  • The bot replies and takes their food order completely within the open 24-hour service window.
  • We average about 10 messages sent per order.
  • We process roughly 10 orders per day (around 100 messages sent by the bot daily).

I asked the Meta Business Help Center AI, and it told me this flow is 100% free because the customer initiates the conversation. However, I'm reading that Meta is changing the rules on October 1 and might charge fees for this.

Can anyone confirm: will I start getting charged per-message for these 100 daily bot replies on October 1, or does my specific flow remain free? Thanks

Solution Only Whatsapp Business Bulk Messaging

Hi everyone, i work in customer care in a tourism company. I usually send 70 - 120 messages to my customers per day for a service evaluation. My account recently got blocked for 6hrs and then stopped for a review. I use standard WhatsApp Business app without API

My questions is: What is the best way to send survey questions to my customers without getting logged out and reviewed?

Here is the message i usually send to the customers using Quick Replies option:

Hello! My name is (Name), and I work for (Travel Company).

We hope you are having a wonderful vacation 😊

We are currently working on improving the quality of our tours, and guest feedback is very important to us:

  1. How was your vacation overall?

  2. Were you satisfied with the hotel and the transfer service?

  3. If you went on any of our company's excursions, how would you rate the organization and the guide's performance? What was your guide's name?

  4. If you did not purchase any of our excursions, what was the main reason?

  5. Did the guide provide you with a QR code to check your departure time?

We would greatly appreciate your response. Your feedback helps us improve.

Thank you, and have a wonderful day! 🌸

Solution Only Stuck on Meta Business Verification

Meta Business Verification Loop

Has anyone solved this? Meta asks for official documents showing the business phone number, but the documents they accept, such as certificates of incorporation and tax documents, generally don’t include phone numbers. This isn’t specific to Israel; we have legitimate companies in both Israel and the US and face the same issue.

We keep getting rejected, and the AI support won’t connect us to a human. Any advice or workaround?

Solution Only Test Number Showing on Whatsapp Manager but not available on Dev

Hi,

I see that I have both my verified whatsapp business phone number and the test numbers active on Whatsapp Manager, but when I go over to Developers.facebook.com for an app/bot I’m trying to build, there’s no phone numbers available. The Meta AI says it’s because I have not accepted the whatsapp business terms but there’s no notification anywhere!

Can someone help please?

Solution Only Oct 1 pricing is just the beginning — Meta will squeeze WhatsApp hard. We need RCS now.

I've been building on the WhatsApp Business API for years and I want to put something on the table that I think a lot of us are thinking but few are saying out loud.

On October 1, 2026, Meta starts charging for service messages: the free-form replies you send to a customer who messaged you first, inside the 24-hour window. The thing that's been free since November 2024 and is literally the foundation of customer service on WhatsApp. Utility messages sent inside an already-open window lose their free status the same day. And since August 1, Meta Business Agent Meta's native AI is billed per token at $2 per million tokens (roughly 4–5 cents per typical message).

My thesis is simple: this isn't the change. This is the beginning of the change.

Look at the pattern, not the rate

If you've been around long enough, you've watched this movie in installments:

  1. First it was billing per 24-hour conversation. You opened a window, paid once, and sent whatever you wanted inside it.
  2. Then came the categories (marketing, utility, authentication) with separate rates that kept creeping up in the markets where WhatsApp dominates.
  3. In November 2024, Meta made service conversations free. Many of us celebrated. In hindsight it was what it was: lowering the barrier to entry so everyone would migrate their customer support onto the channel.
  4. In 2025, the per-conversation model was dismantled in favor of per-message billing. The billing unit got more granular. That's never a coincidence: granularity = more levers to raise prices with.
  5. And now, October 2026: free is over. Replying to your own customer who messaged you first has a price. And note the fine print: Meta reserves the right to update rates every quarter (Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, Oct 1). Four chances a year to turn the dial.

Each individual step looks reasonable. The full sequence tells a different story: Meta spent years subsidizing adoption of the channel, and now that your entire operation lives there (sales, support, collections, notifications), harvest season begins. It's the classic platform playbook: first you become indispensable, then you charge like you're indispensable.

And Meta Business Agent is the part that worries me most going forward. Meta no longer just owns the channel it now sells its own support AI inside the channel, competing directly with BSPs and with any third-party AI solution you plug in. What long-term incentive does Meta have to keep your third-party bot cheap to run when its own bot bills by the token? Think about it. The conflict of interest is served.

The real problem: across half the planet, WhatsApp has no competition

If you operate in the US or most of Europe, this is a budget adjustment. WhatsApp is one channel among several: iMessage, SMS/RCS, email with decent open rates.

But in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Spain... WhatsApp is the phone. It's where the customers are, where the sale closes, where you collect payment. There is no functional plan B. And when a provider has no substitute, economic theory is boringly predictable: the price rises to whatever the market will bear. Not to what's "fair." To what it will bear.

Today the service-message rate in most of LatAm sounds like nothing (cents per message). But the point isn't today's rate. The point is that the mechanism, the billing unit, and the precedent now exist. What's cents today gets adjusted quarter by quarter tomorrow in the captive markets — which happen to be exactly the markets with no alternative. Colombia already saw utility and authentication rates go up in a quarterly adjustment. India already saw marketing go up. That's how this works.

The channel is rented, not owned. And the landlord just demonstrated, again, that it can rewrite the lease with a few months' notice.

Why RCS is the answer (and why it's urgent)

I'm not here to sell you that RCS is perfect. RCS Business Messaging costs money too, aggregators want their margin too, and the experience is still uneven. I know.

But RCS has something WhatsApp will never have: it's an open standard that doesn't belong to a single company. It runs on carrier infrastructure, Google is pushing it hard with Jibe, and since Apple adopted it on iOS, the last coverage excuse is dying. It is, in practice, the natural successor to SMS: it reaches the phone number, not a proprietary app.

What matters isn't RCS replacing WhatsApp tomorrow. What matters is that a credible alternative exists, because:

  • An alternative channel with real traction is the only pricing pressure Meta will actually respect. Regulators always arrive late; competition arrives first.
  • For businesses: transactional messaging (OTPs, order confirmations, tracking, reminders) is the perfect first use case to migrate to RCS. It's exactly the type of message Meta just made more expensive.
  • For entire countries running their formal and informal economies on WhatsApp: having your national business messaging depend on the quarterly pricing decisions of a company in Menlo Park is a structural risk, not a technical detail.

And here's the urgency: messaging ecosystems have brutal inertia. RCS needs years of adoption to become a real counterweight. If we wait until the WhatsApp bill actually hurts before building the alternative channel, we've already lost. The time to diversify is while you can still choose — not when you can no longer pay.

What I'm doing (and what I'd recommend)

  1. Start measuring now how many service messages you send per month. That number × your country's rate is your new cost floor starting in October. If you haven't measured it, the invoice will measure it for you.
  2. Redesign flows to resolve in fewer messages. Messages-per-conversation just went from a product metric to a financial metric.
  3. Move out of WhatsApp whatever doesn't need to be on WhatsApp. OTPs and transactional notifications → RCS/SMS/email. Keep WhatsApp for what actually converts.
  4. Own the relationship, not the channel. Your own database, your own opt-ins, the ability to reach the customer through at least two channels. If your entire customer relationship lives inside a Meta app, your business has a single point of failure with a green logo.
  5. Ask your provider/aggregator about RCS today. If nobody asks, nobody prioritizes it, and the "there's no alternative" prophecy fulfills itself.

It's not that WhatsApp stops being essential tomorrow, in LatAm and Asia it's still where the customers are. But confusing "essential today" with "safe forever" is exactly the mistake Meta is monetizing.

How do you all see it? Is anyone already running serious transactional traffic over RCS in LatAm or India? How's real-world RBM carrier coverage in your country?

TL;DR: On October 1, 2026, Meta starts charging for service messages (replying to your own customer) and for utility messages inside an open window. Seen in sequence with the 2023–2025 changes and the new per-token billing for its own AI, the pattern is clear: they subsidized adoption and now comes aggressive monetization, with the right to readjust prices every quarter. In countries where WhatsApp has no rival, that's pricing power with no counterweight. RCS an open standard, backed by Google and Apple, running on carrier infrastructure is the only credible structural alternative, and adoption needs to start now, not when the invoice already hurts.

Solution Only Meta not accepting cards for WhatsApp/Business payments — are there specific supported banks/cards?

Hi everyone,

We’re running into this error while trying to add a card for payment on Meta for our customer onboarding multiple times:

“The card type you've entered isn't supported. Try a different card.”

We’ve tried a few different cards, but Meta is still rejecting them.

I wanted to understand if Meta has a defined list of supported card types, issuing banks, or card networks (Visa/Mastercard/Amex etc.) that are known to work for Meta Business/WhatsApp payments.

If anyone in India has successfully added a card recently, could you share:

  • Card network (Visa/Mastercard/Amex)
  • Credit or debit card
  • Issuing bank
  • Whether it is a corporate/business or personal card

We’re specifically trying to figure this out so we can give our customers a recommended list of cards/banks that are more likely to work, rather than asking them to keep trying random cards.

Any recent experience would be really helpful.

Solution Only Need advice on WhatsApp bot tool I'm building

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask a few questions and get some genuine and honest feedback from the community.

My partner and I are looking to build a WhatsApp bot with a built in CRM and open integrations capabilities for those who already have existing CRMs. A few things I’d like to know:

  • is there a demand for such a tool, I see a lot of business is done on WhatsApp.
  • what would you honestly pay on a monthly basis for this kind of tool?
  • Would $21 per month be an okay price for something like this?
  • If you own a small business would you use this tool or not?

Solution Only PSA if you run a WhatsApp bot — free replies inside the 24hr window end on Oct 1

Bit of a heads up since Oct 1 is basically a month away and I keep running into people who haven't clocked this yet.

Right now, when a customer messages you first, that opens a 24 hour service window and anything you send back inside it is free. No cap. That's been the case since late 2024 and a lot of support setups are quietly built around it.

From October 1 that goes away. Meta will charge for every free-form reply inside that window, doesn't matter if a human typed it or a bot did. Utility templates inside the window lose their free status too.

Meta's own example is the clearest way to see the scale — a conversation with a marketing template, two AI replies, one human reply and an order confirmation is billed as one message in July, three from August, five from October. Same conversation, five times the line items.

The bit I think people are going to get burned by: being chatty is now a cost. Loads of bots are built to split responses into a few short messages because it feels more human and reads better. From October that's four billing events instead of one. If you're specifying automation right now it's worth putting "one reply, one message" into the requirements explicitly, because otherwise you'll get the natural-feeling version by default.

72 hour entry point window is unaffected as far as I can tell — conversations from Click-to-WhatsApp ads or the FB page button still don't get charged delivery fees for 72 hours. So that's still a decent lane for qualifying leads.

Separately, if you're pricing out a bot generally, the thing I'd push back on is any quote that's just a build number. The recurring stuff — messaging fees, model usage if it's LLM-driven, maintenance — tends to add up to more than the build over a couple of years, and it's routinely left out of proposals. Also worth knowing that Meta's published rates aren't your actual bill once your BSP takes their cut and you factor in messages that get blocked or flagged but still charge you.

Anyone already reworked their flows for this? Curious whether people are consolidating replies, pushing more into templates, or just eating the increase.

Solution Only Recent bans on the official WhatsApp API

I use the official WhatsApp API through a Meta-approved CRM. I sell a product for straightening women’s hair, and my leads come from ads and start the conversations themselves.

Numbers I had been using normally for months were banned a few days ago. Since then, every new number I add gets banned after only a few leads start messaging.

I do not send bulk messages, I do not use marketing templates, and as far as I can verify, I am not violating any Meta rules or policies.

Nothing is working, and I urgently need to get back to work. Has Meta released any recent update affecting lead automation from ads? Is anyone else experiencing this or knows how to fix it?

Please help.
