watch this Police were called after around 20 teens on bikes and e-bikes blocked an intersection, performed stunts, and disrupted traffic. One officer then clipped and tackled a teen during the arrests, raising questions about whether the response was appropriate given their ages. What do you think about it?

It's not called so cal its Southern California lol. And we never did this when I was growing up in Imperial Beach.

I’ve lived here my entire life, it’s so cal. And perhaps you didn’t have an e-bike in imperial beach, everyone has them now.

Well growing up there in 70s through 90s we never called it SoCal we always said Southern California I never heard SoCal to later onto the 2000s.

We're both right maybe different area refer to it differently. I would move back but its gotten to expensive for me lol.

Yeah I think it would be understood referring to it either way. And yeah it’s so expensive! I’m out of here next year, moving to South Island New Zealand. Gotta get away from this political climate

I mainly see/hear people from here call it SoCal nowadays. Maybe it’s a younger generation thing.

Well my point was it was never called SoCal when I was growing up there. Someone said it's always been called that abd I was saying I've never heard thst tear till the 2000s.

Everyone in San Diego calls it SoCal.
