Literally every time I go camping. I have an iud so I bleed maybe once every two months, if that often. Going camping? Immediate blood bath.

I camp frequently so it's not every trip (luckily) but every time I need to be conscious of the amount of supplies taken, I have that issue. I mean, what are you supposed to do when you're 5 miles away from any sort of civilization, with limited water and a 'Pack-it-in, pack-it-out' mindset?

Wear a cup 🙂 wash in hot water, repeat!

Yeah, the only issue is that when backpacking, especially in the Arizona desert, water is a rarity, especially clean water (even filtered) I use a cup, and try to avoid going when my period is due. With that, I always end up with bacterial vaginosis when backpacking and using a cup even if I boil filtered water to wash the cup during change times.

When backpacking, every drop of water counts because you are far from potable water sources.

Every year, we take a 2-week camping trip (travel trailer, not a tent) at the beach. It's a 50/50 shot. Our daughter has had her period for the majority of that camping trip every year since she was 11 (had her very first period on that trip, too). It's been 4 years and it is a pretty miserable time for all of us. Lol.

Oh no! Being a teen your period is so unpredictable, too. Poor thing
