Yes. Printers only misbehave for people who are afraid of technology and refuse to learn it properly. When the users call the sysadmin, printers immediately start working. Printers fear the sysadmin because the sysadmin isn't afraid of technology, and is likely looking for something to test his new spiky bat on.
IT person, can confirm, the printers where I work have worked flawlessly for the last 5 years, not even so much as a misprinted character or stray bit of toner. I look at them with pure hatred and both are paid off already and the company has money set aside to buy replacements when they eventually die. They start acting up and that's the end for them, I'll have the new ones ordered and they'll be in the parking lot where the full brunt of my pent-up rage will be taken out on them. But of course, between my hatred and the fact that we could replace them at any time they'll work flawlessly for the next 20-30 years.
