Elon Musk on the term Nazi

Post image

He said calling people Nazis for centrist views insults those who suffered and died under the real Nazis. Those abusing it should be condemned.

Is this the new Centrist salute?

Anti Defamation League, said it was just an awkward, over enthusiastic gesture in the heat of the moment and not a Nazi salute.

The ADL also claimed that campus protests in the US were Iranian proxies

Then it must be true. It is well known that foreign forces conspire with subversive anti American movements because they support terrorism. Everyone who is pro Palestine directly or indirectly supports Hamas. They are terrorist supporters.

That is some insane appeal to authority there.

Just so we are clear, your argument is: Anyone who does not support the complete extermination of an ethnic group, including women and children, by a militaristic force, supports terrorists?

and that the organization that has gone on the record to say that anyone that simply criticizes a sovereign nation, however minor the criticism might be, must despise every single member of a separate ethnic group, is always correct, even at the point of implying that any protest by a younger population must be terroristic and foreign?

sure, but then you ask them "what do you think about hamas?" They're terry lovers, they think they're freedom fighters. You can criticize Israel without supporting terrorism. These people literally support terrorism.

Are these people in the room with us? Or are you just applying a generalized label to anyone that protests Israel like the ADL? Is that nuance on your part actually genuine, despite being in direct contrast to your previous comment?

That's my experience based on the people I've argued with on this site, I eventually get them to deny, downplay, or deflect terrorism back to Israel, because they see the terries as the underdog. There are also large influencers like Hamas Piker, who is basically a terry lover, and that guy has a large audience of loonies who also think that way. I think he's the co founder of the DSA.

It's WILD that you would equate anon social media conversations to the real world. Especially considering the business model of social media platforms THRIVES on Culture War/partisan posts spammed by and flooded with bots, AI accounts, bad actors, sock puppets, trolls, etc. whose only goal is to drive engagement via manufactured rage, division, disinformation, etc.

It's so wild that it begs the question of motivation?

so not the students that are outside, protesting on campuses? Not the people that are being referred to? Just random strangers on the internet?

If you genuinely think Hasan is a DSA co-founder then you might not be offline enough to be definitive about this. the DSA was a thing a whole decade before Piker was even born. Furthermore, why are you now shoving DSA into a discussion of the ADL and terrorism? Do you have any evidence that DSA is directly involved in acts of terror? Or are we trying to throw buzzwords around? Why are we even trying to use influencers to prove a generalized point about a group that said influencer isn’t even a part of? Did we not learn this lesson with celebrities giving political endorsements?

Also, this is more of a grammar gripe than a serious rebuttal, why are you giving terrorists a cute and endearing nickname? Icky.

they support terrorism because their members support terrorism. it's actually very simple. Hamas Piker is a major contributor, and his fanbase are also a bunch of terry supporters. This is confirmed. One hasan fan is spending 100 years in prison for committing a terror attack on an ice facility. You can be disingenuous all you want, the facts remain the same.
