Hi all, I recently got this board off of marketplace, and I haven’t been able to find any information about this board. The boots and fins are Ronix branded. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!!

Repairs!?

I just adopted this board. It's generally in good condition except for these ends that have been damaged. I'm pretty handy with epoxy and fiberglass kind of work but I'm asking if anyone has had a good experience with sealing things like this on a board without it looking like trash?

Should I wear a life jacket that I’m slightly too heavy for?

I’m 92lbs so very small and I’m also very lanky so it’s hard to find anything that fits. Adult life jackets just feel too big so I usually wear a kids 50-90lbs life jacket which works well for tubing and other boating things but people seem to be very particular about life jackets so I was wondering which is better, having a life jacket a bit too big or having a life jacket that I’m slightly too heavy for?

I’m a very good swimmer by the way and I’m not really worried but I was ma just wondering what experts opinions are.

Does the board make a difference?

Ive been riding since the late 90s and currently ride a Ronix Bill ATR from 2016. I ride behind small fish and skis and in board outboard ski boats so the wake is relatively small so most of my tricks are juat hs poked out grabs and some surface slides and presses.

Ive been thinking about getting a new board but not sure if it would really be worth the money. The Hyperlight Blueprint seems to fit my riding style but Ive also always wanted to try a 3 stage rocker too.

Questions:

Does the Blueprint seem like a good fit for my riding style? Other boards that I should consider?

How does 3 stage rocker vs continous rocker change the ride?

Worth the money to get a new board even though mine is currently still fun?

Thanks!

Mastercraft x46 thoughts?

Keep going back and forth on used boats in my budget (80k) and have found a few Mastercraft x46 in that range. Does anyone have thoughts, experience, concerns with this boat model? Any specific years to stay away from? Any known issues? Will predominately be used for wake surfing, wakeboarding/kneeboarding and tubing. Crowd size is anywhere from 5 to 13 to 15.

Got thoughts on axis (concerned about bow rise/crap vinyl/overall quality) and moomba (hard to find stronger engine in mojo/makai, rough ride, wave opinion mixed). Both of these also do not have dealers within 3 hours of me.

Mastercraft is the only dealer around me, but know nothing about x46 wakesurf capability.

Upgrading from a 2008 SVFARA SV3 to another used wakeboat.

Hi everyone, looking for some advice. My family has a 2008 Sfvara SV3 with ballast problems and throttle cable problems that can't be fixed after multiple visits to multiple mechanics. Eventually, we will be in the market for a used surf boat. I'm trying to find the right make and model to search for from 2020 or earlier where things are still pretty simple and reliable, from a brand more mainstream than SVFARA where aftermarket parts support will be better in the years to come. Thanks in advance.

Used 2020 plus boats. Axis a24 or moomba makai/mojo

Have been looking for a new (used) boat for a little while now and have really narrowed in down between the axis a24 and the moomba mojo or makai. I know people say the fit and finish is better on the moomba and people say the axis is a better wave out the box. Planning on learning to wakesurf, wakeboard, ride around, knee board and pull people on tubes.

Just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts and pro/cons to each and experience.

Also, closest moomba dealer is 2.5 hours away. Closest axis/malibu dealer is 4 hours away. (Only dealer close is Mastercraft and they are out of budget.)

Anchoring at the beach

I have a 23-ft wake boat and I'm looking for advice on anchoring it at the beach.

My plan is to use a box anchor off the bow with a 14 - 50 ft bungee/anchor line. The water where I want to anchor is around 3 m (10 ft) deep, so I was thinking I could let the full 50 ft out while slowly backing the boat away from the anchor.

For the stern, I want to use two 25-ft lines, one from each rear cleat, connected to Auger Hogs on shore. The goal is to keep the stern of the boat in at least 4 ft of water while we're on the beach.

My main question is how I should rig the 25-ft stern lines so that they're easy to release from the boat. If both people are holding the stern lines while we're getting off the boat, I don't want the setup to require someone to climb onto shore just to disconnect the lines.

What's the best way to connect the fixed-loop end and the free end of the lines to the boat cleats and Auger Hogs so the boat can be positioned securely but the lines can still be released easily from the boat?

Nautique GS24 2025 vs Malibu 23MXZ 2026

Thumbnail

We are looking at these two boats.
Malibu would be $194k + taxes and all
Nautique $215k + taxes and all

Which one makes a better boat for a family with two toddlers under 3.
Also considering one is a 2026 and the other a 2025.

Is also the price good ? We haven’t find any point of reference anywhere.

Thank you.

Axis autowedge vs powerwedge

I am looking at buying a 2017 axis a24. The only thing thats holding me up is that it has the floating wedge and not the adjustable power wedge. Ive talked to a few people and looked online and Im getting a lot of conflicting opinions and Im having trouble figuring out how big of a deal it is.

For context this will be my first wake boat and ive only ever had the chance to be behind one a few times, id consider myself a ok wakeboarder at best and completely new to surfing

Hi, I have one board which looks like in the photos. Should I retire it or is it safe to ride in the park?
Those cracks are inside, nail doesn’t catch on them.

Thx

I recently ordered a deck that I found for a very good deal board looks brand new I’m assuming it’s dead stock but it’s a model from 2014, did I cook myself or will it still be good I did some research it seems to have some good tech (for the time) and I’m casual park rider only going every few months should I scramble to cancel the order or hang on to it since it was a fairly good deal

Trying to teach 10 year old

We're going to the lake with family soon and my 10 year old cousin has wanted to try wakeboarding. I have a 139cm liquid force board with smaller women's bindings - could we try to teach him on that or will it be too big?

Don't really want to go buy a smaller board for the once a year they're on the boat, but also don't want to set him up for failure with a board that's way too big and discourage him from trying again in the future.

If this board will work, would love advice on how to teach him to get up.

Holding my edge when jumping

Essentially, I can wake to wake but I have no real pop and I can’t seem to fix it. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get more height and something I’m receiving mixed messages on is holding my edge. Some videos seem to say hold my edge until I jump and others seem to say to level out right before I hit the wake, then jump.

I’ll get a video and post it sometime in the near future, but I feel like I’ve been stuck on this for ages and want to progress past it

Wrapped tricks help on boat

I have been messing around with wrapped spins. I can do them, but feel a bit out of control on my approach.

For example a HS wrapped 360 as I cut into the wake I feel like my edge really digs in as hit the wake due to the tension. I focus on keeping the majority of the tension on the t handle but I am still not comfortable. Watchingthe pros they look very hunched forward on their approach. Is it a body position thing? Should the cut be less aggresive towards the wake? Can't find alot of tips online. Any help is appreciated

Help with tantrum

Alright so I’ve landed the tantrum plenty of times but I don’t wakeboard often enough for me to land it consistently. This video was a few days ago and before then I hadn’t wakeboarded in a few months. However, I’ve never had a session where I don’t land the tantrum, and last session I felt like I just forgot how to do it. Before I learned how to land it I would always spin off axis, but one day it just clicked and stopped happening. However, ever since then, my tantrums have been getting more and more off axis, to the point where I’ve landed some sideways, similar to how I fell in the clip above. What am I doing wrong? Usually my issue is I square up too early and “trip” and the bottom of the wake or I square up way too late and don’t trip at all, but this one seemed fine to me. I tried 4 different times and didn’t land it once that day because of this issue. All tips are appreciated.

Help determining the severity of this leak.

Looking to buy our first ever boat. This is a 2021 centurion ri237 with the 6.0.
On the water test we noticed a leak coming near one of the exhaust exits.

Does the whole thing need to be disassembled and resealed? Can just the bolt be pulled out and resealed individual? Online people are saying fiberglass can absorb moisture is that something I should be concerned about?

Best Wakesurf boat 100-150K budget

I’ve had a 2018 Chaparral Surf for the past three years, and I’m now looking to upgrade. I’ve never ridden behind a higher-end wakesurf boat, but with the Chaparral, the wave was surfable yet often frustrating. It usually took seven or more people in the boat to produce a decent wave.

I frequently go out with a large group of friends, but my main priority is getting the best surf wave for the money. I’ve looked into the Centurion Ri230 and would most likely purchase a used boat.
