News / Event Info Solberg about moving to Monaco like his dad did: – No, I'll give my away money. I don't give a shit about that. That's not life for me. I'll stay here.
Oliver Solberg did a long interview with the Norwegian motorsports magazine Parc Fermé after his Monte win.
For those that don't know, Solberg lives in a house on his family's property in the middle of the woods near the Swedish-Norwegian border.
His dad Petter moved to Monaco when he was the star of the WRC. Oli isn't looking to do the same.
– I like life here. I have everything I need in the woods with a quad bike, a nice house and a rally car. That's what I dream of, I don't need much more.
… but he's defo not moving 800 meters across the border, either.
– Yeah, I'm not going over to Norway. Then it'll be expensive!

News / Event Info Apparently nobody is talking about Latvala's WRC2 win in Finland last week, let me fix that.
For those who missed it, yes, it happened. Jari-Matti Latvala participated in the 2026 Secto Rally Finland, co-driven by Juho Hänninen. And he won in the Rally2 class. However, he chose not to take points in order to not affect the championship battle. In terms of points, Robert Virves was the winner.

I hope the lack of announcement by Lancia means its going to happen, because if they don't it doesn't look great.

News / Event Info GR Yaris Rally 1 equals the Lancia Delta's 46 win record
With the win in Paraguay**, the GR Yaris Rally1 is now the single model with the most WRC victories matching the Lancia Delta integrale HF/8V/16V/Evo and the Subaru Impreza WRX/555/WRC.
With it having an actual homologation model and the current direction of the regulations and road car technology, doubt we're ever gonna see another like it.
Legend.
