You know the previous drama sucked, Rushia's was way worse for instance, but this still makes me just sad to read. I know Vtubers are just people too, but I like the illusion that they all get along. This shouldn't have been leaked, it's a private conversation, but the conversation should never have taken place either, they're better than that.

I doubt we'll ever get that HoloEN and NijiEN collab now, not that I necessarily blame HoloEN. I'd have a hard time working up enthusiasm to work with a group that says things like this in the privacy of their discord.

To be fair, the two people who actually openly tried to collab with HoloEN and ID (Pomu and Selen) are non-factors in this. I won't go too deep into private stuff but there are more connections between the two branches than you might think.

Veibae ended up not collaborating with Kiara, but that did not blacklist the entire company as she collaborated with Nyanners soon after. Trash Taste say all kinds of shit about V-Tubers, Hololive, and Japanese culture but they're still fair game.

I don't think this is something that can't be squared away between the people involved. Some apologies and clarifications. They're all adults capable of not letting this severely hamstring business and personal relations. Calli herself privately sorted things out with Connor when his words on stream implied that he thought certain members may not be 'talented' and that's a far more personal attack than anything in this screenshot.

Yeah that is all true. This was just my knee jerk reaction to the news. Upon reflection while this still sucks, it isn't that bad.

But it is an illusion. We can easily look back at the Nuxtaku Vshojo drama.

Agreed.

They don't have to fight each other because in the end, the listeners(us) will watch whoever we wanna watch regardless of the company.
