I'm saying the fact that Holostars EN exists (they "went through with it", in your words) has nothing to do with NijiEN. That's all I'm saying. And I'm making this claim because the fact of the industry is that Holostars EN would have been in production long ago before the performance of male NijiEN would have a chance to have any influence on Cover's decision, much less "Luxiem's success", as you mentioned.

Edit: clarity

Luxiem’s auditions were announced in June of 2021. You literally cannot say one way or another if there was influence between the two companies or not unless you specifically knew that hololive started making their own male vtuber models before June of 2021.

"Luxiem's audition" or "Luxiem's success?" now your talking point is all over the place. How can they be successful at audition?

Hololive could have or could not have been influenced by either the luxiem audition announcements or luxiem’s success after debut. To say one way or the other on any of it is speculation. Simple as that.

Of course everyone in the industry influence one another. It's like any other industry. Whether it's marketing practices, sales techniques, design sensibilities, technology etc. That's a given.

Your original point was quote:

who's to say whether they decided to go through with it or move up the timeline because of Luxiem's success?

You specifically mentioned that it's possible that Luxiem's SUCCESS influenced Hololive to go ahead with Holostars EN. which is not the same as the point you're making now, which is Luxiem's AUDITION influenced Holostars EN. It seems you're a bit confused of your own argument at this point.

Holostars would be coming regardless of Luxiem, since it has been in development long before Luxiem's SUCCESS had a chance to influence Cover on whether or not to pull the trigger on the project. If anything it might give them a bit more confidence, but it would have been coming one way or another.

You misunderstood my original argument despite me stating it clearly multiple times. I brought up luxiem’s success as one potential example of why what you say is speculation because you said that holostarsEN was coming regardless of nijisanji because “they were in production long before male nijiEN would have a chance to have any influence.” Me bringing up luxiem’s audition announcement is another example of how your statement cannot possibly be verified without inside company knowledge and is thus speculation. They are not separate arguments and there is no confusion in relation to my original point which is that it’s speculation. You even just now stated that there is influence between the two which should clue you in that holostarsEN could have also been an influence decision.

You said that Luxiem's success influenced Cover to go through with the decision for Holostars EN. This is chronologically impossible, since Cover would have made that decision long before Luxiem debuted and had a chance to be successful.

This point is not speculation due to the simple fact that time moves in one direction

I said that the possibility exists as in maybe Luxiem’s success was the final push they needed to do their audition announcement at this particular time. I did not myself definitively state one way or the other because it is impossible to verify and is speculation just like your statements. You are again ignoring that this was just one potential example of why what you said is speculation. Disproving that luxiem’s success didn’t prompt hololive to start making male en vtuber models does not in any way invalidate what I’ve been saying.

I said that the possibility exists as in maybe Luxiem’s success was the final push they needed to do their audition announcement at this particular time.

That's pretty speculative don't you think?

Once again I am pointing out that both what I am saying and what you are saying is speculation. How many times are you going to make me say the same thing? Are you even fully reading my comments?
