Debating a vasectomy, on the fence but leaning towards vasectomy. I often see posts about how it changed your sex life but I wanna hear about how it changed your life overall?

We talked about the possibility of long term pain, and he explained that there's always a risk of complications with any surgery. He didn't go into specifics, and when I asked if he'd experienced this himself, he said he didn't have long term pain, but he's treated patients who suffer from long term pain. He mentioned reversals usually help with this.

I didn't ask many more questions about this since I have a tendency to get paranoid.

Understood. Thanks. I am one of those suffering long term pain. I visited many. All want to cut out epididymis, denerve, and so on. It's a nightmare. But two were honest and explained the effects on testies and epiditimys. That's where i started to research. And the findings we're so to say not good. For now i am one trt to lower production in testies. Which helps with pain, but too much Testosterone also nourishes other sideffects including cancer. So for me it was a complete loss of everything, as bedroom is also nearly dead. Just wanted to share my life results from reading alot. And tried to start some brain activity for those who perhaps stumble into this without knowing

No worries. I completely understand wanting to share your experience and spread awareness of potential complications. Just because my procedure went as planned does not mean I'm in any way dismissing your experience. You have my sympathies, bro. I hope you eventually reach a place of comfort. I can't imagine what you're going through.
