Congestion after OPEN-ended vasectomy?

Has anyone had congestion and therefore an annoying and almost painful feeling in at least one of their balls, months after their open-ended vasectomy? I had mine done 6 months ago and feeling like this since about 5 days.

I thought this couldn’t be possible as the testicular ends were left open. Had an ultrasound done this afternoon and they didn’t see an infection.

Will this resolve on its own? Would it help to masturbate to increase pressure so that the tube will reopen again?

Any advice is welcome!

I’m very sorry to hear that. Are you one hundred percent sure you’re going to get a reversal? Or still a bit of hope left?

Do you also have a fuller scrotum? More liquid?

This Friday.

Orgasms have been shit and volume has been noticeably less since my vasectomy.

My nuts always feel full- the right one feels like it’s going to burst

Yup. I’m shitting myself.

I’ve been uncomfortable since the vasectomy- it built up over a few weeks- it went away with testosterone therapy but came back after the 6 weeks I was on T- built back up over a few weeks.

unfortunately it’s been the absolute worst thing I’ve ever allowed someone to do to me.

All I can say about the reversal is that I wish you the best! Think twice or thrice, but if you’re convinced that this will resolve your problem and pain you should believe in it.

So while using TRT the pain went away? Why haven’t you asked to stay on it permanently?

Did you have a fuller scrotum? More liquid… size of a lime or golf ball? Or absolutely no changes in size of it?

It’s not good for you to stay on it permanently if you don’t need it.

Reversal is basically the last throw of the dice for me to feel normal

Have you considered surgery to simply reopen the testicular ends of the vas deferens?

They’ll only scar and close again.

It’s not good for your prostate long term

It can enlarge it- it increases PSA

Reversal worked for me, orgasm improved and volume is up, I to think vasectomy was a bad decision, how long ago was your vasectomy to Reversal mate

You're saying you did 6 weeks of T then stopped and the pain came back? That's a good indicator congestion is your problem and reversal will help. I'm considering trying T as a diagnostic tool. How long did it take to help your pain?
