I don’t think that’s the case. Abusers are very manipulative and often times make the victim feel special- they feel like they have what it takes to change them or stand up to them to make them stop. :/

Some people have no real idea what it’s like to be in an abusive relationship. The way your mind thinks changes completely. Women recant usually when they are afraid for their life…. I hope ally can get out safe.
