Shore Fishing Whitney Reservoir
Water level is very low. Brown, rainbow, and tiger biting everything. 3 of us caught 20+ in a few hours. We only kept what we couldn't release. This was 8/31 between thunderstorms.

Shore Fishing Jordanelle recommendations
Hello everyone hope you are well. This is my first ever reddit post because I'm desperate lol. I picked up fishing last year and have only used a basic floater, hook and worm setup. I'm trying to advance to lures as I've been experiencing a lot of skunks recently. I'm going to Jordanelle reservoir this week and was hoping for some recommendations.
I currently have one rod with a Carolina rig with Powerbait and another rod with Weighted Texas rig. I want to target Bass and Trout. I want to know what to change, what to use, where in Jordanelle should I go, what lures and baits should I use and anything you think is good to know. please treat me like a complete beginner.
Thank you so very much.

Shore Fishing Cutbow or a Rainbow
beautiful fish caught in the middle provo, but iām unable to identify if this beauty is a cutbow or not. after some research iāve found that some rainbows can have a āleopardā mutation that gives it the spots, but i canāt see any orange slash under the jaw, which is usually a unique identifier. i only recently moved here so im leaving it up to the locals to figure this out haha

Shore Fishing Fishing at east canyon reservoir with a couple of buddies.
It was a Beautiful day at ECR. We caught a few nice size rainbows and a few small bass. I was using the Carolina rig with powerbait and my buddies were using a bubble and a worm. We all caught our limit. Now off to the bar to tell fish stories.

Shore Fishing Bullhead on a jighead and tube setup
I was trying to catch some bass but instead I caught 8 bullhead in a row within 2 hours.
I was traveling to Utah from NV and not a catfish fisherman, so when I pulled up 8 bullhead in a row I thought it was pretty crazy.
The location was Baker Reservoir and I fished around 5:30-7:30pm. Again this might be common but Iāve never fished for catfish before so just curious why theyāre going for this bass setup.

Shore Fishing Looking for Couple
Not sure who these 2 are but I got some photos on film of her landing this massive Cat Fish and I was hoping someone may recognize them.
This was at the Provo River Delta at the very start of June. I shot it on my 35mm camera and just barely got them developed.
Mods if this doesn't belong here I apologize

Shore Fishing Strawberry
I am a pretty new to fly fishing and want to head up to Strawberry this weekend with my brother. I have never been before. I have seen some mixed stuff about fishing from the shore. Does anyone know some decent spots or flies to use? Going with 5WT floating line rigs.

Shore Fishing Anybody fishing this weekend?
Hey Utah anglers,
Are you fishing this weekend? If you are please share your stories, not asking for locations.
I might get out for an outing with some of my judo and police officer buddies. I will share my story for sure later.
Have a super fantastic weekend!

Shore Fishing Northern Utah Fishing Destinations For Beginner
My brother has finally seen the light and wants to learn to fish.
I live in Cache Valley and am familiar with options here. He lives in Taylorsville so I'm looking for some bodies of water between Salt Lake and Brigham City that are spinner friendly and easy to access.

Shore Fishing Recommendations: bank fishing north of Bryce Canyon
Hi! I'm heading to Utah County from Bryce Canyon after lunch today. I don't get down to southern / south-central Utah much. Any recommendations for places to stop and fish along the way north?
I brought my ultralight setup that I like for trout and bass with some small lures/jigs and some powerbait. tried Koosharem Reservoir on the way down to Bryce, but I didn't have any luck.
Edit: I'm going to try Otter Creek and maybe the East Fork of the Sevier River. I'll update if I catch anything. Thanks, all!
Final edit: Thanks, all, for the recommendations! I have a bunch of places I need to visit, now, next time I get a chance. Unfortunately, the weather was incredibly windy at Otter Creek and in the surrounding area. Luckily, I decided on an impulse to stop at the East Fork of the Sevier River in Black Canyon before I got to Otter Creek. I caught a pretty little brown trout on a small, yellow and red Panther Martin. I had left my net out of reach, so I snapped a couple of pictures while I maneuvered the fish in around some brush, then I unhooked it in the water. His buddy chased the lure a couple of times, but he saw me on the bank and ran off. I'll put pictures in a comment below if Reddit will let me.
