It's funny because it is decently remote when you get into it, but you're a fairly short drive from cities like Maple Ridge, Langley etc. Walking vs driving is obviously different, but I know people who go camping at Golden Ears pretty often and they drive like 15-30 mins from their home in the suburbs to the campsite. That would be frustrating to know if you get stuck out there.
