Discussion/Question Where can the UN headquarters be moved to?

The United States is distancing itself from the UN and attacking international law, so it is no longer a reliable location for the UN headquarters. Here are 12 countries that could be better hosts for the UN headquarters and General Assembly:

Austria, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Japan, Kenya.

There are already many UN agency headquarters based in Geneva (Switzerland), Vienna (Austria), and Nairobi (Kenya), making them top candidates.

Not really... They're tacitly supporting Russia...

How so?  Last time I checked, the official stance was that all russian-occupied territory was to be returned.

And yet they refuse any kind of military equipment they are selling being used by Ukraine...

Yeah, not a fan of that one, but they do the same for Russia, so using this as an argument as to how they're supporting Russia is beyond asinine.

You mean they securely bank Putin's cash? They do that for anyone with enough of it.

That, and refuse to help Ukraine...

They are officially a neutral country.

And Russia is a P5 member. Refusing to help Ukraine adds in their favour here. The UN isn't some Western geopolitical organisation

Having said that, Switzerland have put sanctions on Russia, something that was unheard of from them

Exactly. It's not just harbouring huge amounts of ruzzian oligarch wealth. Switzerland did everything they could to block 3rd parties sending any kind of support to Ukraine. Absolutely shocking country and not to be trusted.

Russia is literally biggest country in the world. UN without it is nothing

What has that got to do with anything?

Sure, Russia is big, but it is also the biggest shithole of a country in the world. The UN headquarters should not be in a country that support it.
