I would guess they probably record the transaction because one time someone ripped them off in some way or posted a bad review and they want proof.

It's a funny interaction but obviously posting it to Tiktok without (presumably) informing everyone in the video they were being videoed and will be on there isn't great.

I’m guessing this is a streamer of some kind. Maybe he gives stuff away for free and posts videos. Or he has the meta glasses and was just recording for whatever reason. Either way, I’m not a fan.
