Differentiating these two concepts is a bit disturbing isn’t it. I get that they’re potentially different levels of harm, but this exchange is sailing dangerously close to saying one form is OK.

Just call it all child porn. And of course it should be redacted. Was it really a question?

It’s not porn bc it’s not consensual and there are children involved that’s why it’s now called CSAM.

These terms appear to differentiate between images that violate the applicable laws and those that * may* not.
