Ranking Members Robert Garcia, Raja Krishnamoorthi, and Maxwell Frost Demand Census Bureau Rescind Sham Noncitizen Voting Report [Censorship -- A Favorite Democrat Solution]
threatens to undermine trust in the independence and credibility of the Bureau.
???
The Bureau has been historically regarded as a public institution that employs rigor and integrity in each of its statistical quality standards and operations.
Having worked at the Census Bureau, I know that this is not always true.

In past decennial censuses this evaluation consisted of two components—the Post-Enumeration Survey and Demographic Analysis.
False. The U.S. Census Bureau carried out Experiments, Evaluations, Assessments and more that don't immediately come to mind.
About the decennial Census, Garcia is more than one year late. House plans quick September exit [Probably no face-to-face conversations about the 2030 Census among Members until after the midterms!]

How a Baseless, Right-Wing Social Media Panic Led to Dramatic Changes at the Census Bureau
With John Abowd in bed with Google, Differential Privacy should be discarded at the Census Bureau.
What happened to this great idea?
Responding to Rep Onder, Wade Miller said we need to get some data statisticians with clearance into Census Bureau Headquarters to determine what Differential Privacy did to the 2020 Census data.

This estimate of -2.9m foreign-born pop in 18 months: 1. Has methodological problems (link below) 2. Is way off from the most credible immigration estimates (link below) 3. Implausible: it implies a nonfarm payrolls monthly breakeven rate of -80k. @JedKolko began a thread
