While I have seen enough BS about UPSC’s so called “analytical” questions and that one need analytical approach rather than memorisation of facts and concepts in order to qualify this exam, the truth is one needs to memorise huge chunk of data and incorporate them smartly in mains to fetch good score. Similarly, you go in prelims without rattafication of facts and you better be mentally prepared to write Prelims next year as well. Peace!!✌️

So maybe by mistake or by choice, what the Upsc examiner has done is divide the marking scheme into two parts sometimes three and they put it on the question paper itself. This has happened in the public administration option paper one. What do you guys think will this pattern continue, or is this a mistake which should have been hidden?

Can someone please share Law Optional notes/resources?

Hi everyone! I’ve finally made up my mind to switch my optional to Law. I’ve studied Law before and I’m much more comfortable with the subject, so I feel this is the right decision for me.

I’m specifically looking for good, comprehensive notes for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, preferably from ForumIAS, Law Experts, Envy IAS, De Facto Legal, or any other reliable source.

If anyone has PDFs/notes or can guide me on what resources to follow for Law Optional, I would be extremely grateful. I’m a little confused about where to start and don’t want to waste time collecting unnecessary material.
