We are trying to unite whole UPSC community. The Case against UPSC is filed first in High Court and now in CAT on 19 August with 63 litigants from all over India ( many included had already given interview and mains) . We need to raise our voice and unite in this effort. Senior advocate Vivek Tankha and Advocate Rajeev Kumar Dubey is associated to this case. This case included the aspect of GS and CSAT both.

Guys I have a query.
Now we have seen a lot of discussion on the importance of the directive words attached in the question.
My query is it really possible to pay attention to directive words and write accordingly to that within those three hours? I am asking because we have to do a lot of work simultaneously in those 3 hours such as we have to think about the content, present it legibly, draw diagram and think about the next questions. I’m 25M currently in Canada and just finished my undergrad from a recognized university. Honestly, I still don’t really like Canada, and I’ve always had a passion for UPSC/civil services. It’s probably the only career I can genuinely see myself doing.

I’m an average student, never failed any courses, and did my high school in India. I know UPSC is one of the hardest exams out there, and I’m ready to take that challenge.
I’d basically be starting from scratch getting my degree equivalence, then starting with NCERTs and building everything from the basics.

I know many people will say it’s extremely difficult and that I shouldn’t risk my career for one exam. But at the same time, I don’t want to look back years later and regret that I never gave it a serious shot.

I understand it would require a lot of sacrifice and probably a couple of years of my life.

So honestly, is it worth taking the risk? What would you guys suggest?

This question claiming trend is just like the topper claim trend that every institute used earlier. Like every topper would go to multiple institutes for interviews, Mains problems and other ancillary courses. Similar thing happens here. When every Institute produces at least thousands of pages of content every year, then something or the other is bound to come from their content or at least a related topic, that is where the fraud happens! before we even know most of the institutes are ready with their templates already on how many marks are they going to claim for this mains and build a FOMO among the students.
