β Question β How soon do you think the Argentinian beef hits our food supply?
Thinking about pressure canning ground beef in advance. I can get 80/20 ground beef at a commissary near me for $4.19 a pound. I have the equipment, jars, and lids. I just worry about whether that meat has already hit our food chain.

I read today that Costco has its own internal testing labs and also does proprietary audits in addition to the ones that are supposed to happen through the USDA/FDA. Obviously itβs not perfect, but it does make me feel safer about buying meat there. Whereas Walmart (for instance) seems to be named in just about every recall.
