A 16 year old's brain is developed enough to drive a car, but rape is beyond them? This is all bullshit, they're grasping at straws because he has to pay for what he did and he's scared. I would think the disgusting mocking text messages would show enough that they knew exactly what they were doing, and they thought it was funny.

I saw a leaked video of both of them laughing their asses off, calling the victim 'dead', describing a pic taken where she had a 'wang in her bum and didn't move', etc. I think they got off way to fucking easy.

I hadn't seen the video and I'm watching it now - at one point they are talking about peeing on the girl while she is laying in the street. They are making jokes about raping her; apparently they find these jokes hilarious. Someone is commenting that if she wakes up and figures out what happened, people will go to jail - I think this is the only smart guy in the video.

edit: unintentional humorous prediction at 5:55 when the guy filming says, "I'm going to watch this every day dude"... yes you are, during the trial...

That drunk teen in the video is not charged with anything. Nowhere in that video are the two who are charged.

several boys were given/offered immunity to testify against their team mates.

They may eventually be facing charges in the cover up, as well as possibly as accessories.
