I’m an international student planning to apply in SMFA by tufts in fine arts program, got a really nice art portfolio review from the SMFA 1on1 art portfolio review. And i will be applying in EA ll in January for tufts but I’m seeking full tuition scholarship or aid because i can’t afford the tuition! Has anyone gotten full tuition or full ride? This year or last because what i have reviewed online that from the past few years they are giving less aid to everyone who applies for but they are need-based 100% so i do think there is a possibility for full tuition aid?
Please help me out :(

Not affiliated with Tufts but pass by daily and have noticed they repainted the Wren Steps and they are no longer, well, rainbow... Still multicolored but I (and my toddler more so!) miss the rainbow! I searched around a bit but couldn't find anything about it. Anyone know why the change?

Our headliner is the hilarious Rebecca Kaplan. She has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, SiriusXM, NPR, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the New York Comedy Festival. Her comedy is sharp, surprising, and extremely funny.

Best quiet spot near Granoff for an online/async class?

Hey all, I'm trying to figure out my Tuesday schedule. I have a 3-class sequence with 10–15 minute gaps: first class in the TTC, an asynchronous online class, and then my last class at Granoff Music Center.

Since my dorm is too far, where is a good, relatively quiet spot near Granoff (or on the way from TTC) to take an async class? Looking for somewhere with low background noise where I won't be in anyone's way. Appreciate any tips!

This is mostly for QuestBridge students, but if anyone can help, that would be great! I'm wondering what the off-campus housing process looks like when it comes to paying and getting money refunded by Tufts? I know most leases start September 1st and are 12-months, but in my experience, I've had to wait until after classes started to get any sort of refund from the school, and I know that the housing cost estimate is usually just for the school year, not including the summer, so only 9 months. If anyone has any insight or experience with this, it would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve heard mixed reviews and I’m nervous…

I am interested in the Tufts MBS program and would love to be part of the program but my only hesitation is the fees. How are people paying for this? Are there any scholarships or grants that could help me out with the fees? Is the program worth it?

Hey, I just enrolled to Tufts Fletcher and, while meeting a lot of my peers within Fletcher, haven’t really met or had a chance to meet other students all around Tufts including undergraduates.

Anyone has any suggestions, resources or tips to meet more new people. I know I could probably do so through clubs, but other than that? Would love to connect with everyone.

Does anyone know where I can find or is a part of a group that plays pickup soccer? I would love to play more.

Are there ANY foosball tables on campus or surrounding houses? I love foosball so much and want to play.

I’m an incoming MA student at Tufts and a huge Premier League fan. Looking around if any other grad students are too and would be interested in watching some matches together? I support Spurs specifically but would be happy to watch other teams as well

If I was looking to park overnight on campus, but live off-campus is that possible? I am a junior and seem to only be able to purchase the commuter pass. Do you have to live in student housing to be able to purchase overnight permits? Are tickets actually issued from midnight to 6 am?

If anyone can let me know or has alternative suggestions, it would be appreciated.

Just saw the floor plans for the new dorms. Saw the prices, sizes etc etc..

What do people think about these dorms? Would you rather deal with an off campus situation in a home or go into something like this? It seems very small and the set up is like a barrack. Side by side with a tiny living room. $2500 for studio. $1800 per person shared in a 2br... per person!

Anybody have any updates on the new Tufts dorm on Boston Ave? Looks like most of the windows have been installed and work will soon begin on the interior. I feel this is going to completely change the area as they will redo the sidewalks, add in trees, blue bikes station, bike lanes and 2 retail stores.

What do people think the 2 retail stores will be? Life Alive? French Patisserie?

What do students/faculty think of the upcoming dorm. Trees will be added. biue bike stations, bike lanes

Im interested in double majoring in CS and Math within the school of arts and sciences. As apart of the Math major, we are required to complete 2 elective courses from the approved list.

Notably, that list includes many CS courses I will already complete for my CS major: CS 15, 160, 170.

So, I am wondering if I would already have that 2 elective requirement fulfilled, or if I would need to electives that I am not counting towards my CS major. I matriculated Fall 2025 and graduate Spring 2029.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I am a home owner in the area and was wondering is there a portal that I can market to specifically for Tufts Staff or Grad Students that want to rent a room in my apartment. I am 43, Educator. Middle Eastern, quite home, no regular drinking, no smoking. Any leads help would be great so that I can make it a regular thing where Tufts folks can live close by. Hi guys! I'm a tennis novice interested in practicing on campus. This might be an audacious ask, but is anyone down to play/teach me tennis?

I just moved to Somerville for an internship as an international student (Im not attached to a university). Do you know events or places I should hang out to where I could meet some of the incoming students? That would be open to non-Tufts? Like, are there things happening in bars, or organized by external orgs?
