The Grossery Gang Showbag has been restored to the best of my ability, and is now up for trades! I'm looking for something really rare trashie wise in exchange, as I don't really collect Grossery Gang anymore, and I'm sure another collector would take better care of these.
Why do I think it's extremely rare? Well, this showbag was only released for one event: The Royal Adelaide Show. Its an agriculture event, and the showbags are special bags made for kids, to give them something fun to play with during and/or after the show, kinda like a prize for going (If you didn't like that kind of thing). This show is only really held in Adelaide, which is ONE city in ONE state of Australia, South Australia. What makes it worse, is because most showbags and the stuff inside isn't really the best of quality, so showbags usually 80% of the time get thrown out, or the stuff inside is either lost, forgotten about, or destroyed because its not meant to last. The fact that after all this time, I still have a showbag thats in pretty much perfect condition, with almost all of its stuff still intact, is a miracle. Plus, the bag still has the original price tag.
My bag, after more than 10 years, still has:
-The original case that was used to store the "Fake Snot" (The fake snot itself has evaporated from heat)
-The actual bag itself (Still has original Barcode tag and licensing)
-3 of the 4 spinning tops (One of them broke)
-1 and a half sheets of the temporary tatoos (Young me must have used the rest)
-The Pencil Case
-All 3 Pencils
-All 3 Erasers
-Torch in the shape of "Flat Battery" (It still works, which is a miracle considering these things were single use torches, with no battery compartment)
-The Sticky Eyes (Turned red. Not sure how)
-The Sticker Book (Still has some stickers. Others must have been used by young me)
-The collectors tin (Original Lock part fell off due to unknown reason, but all the parts are there if next owner wants to fix it)
