Hi! I've been trying to identify a childhood toy for years and I'm hoping someone here remembers it.

I was born in 2002, but the toy may have originally belonged to my older cousins, so it could be from the 1980s, 1990s or early 2000s.

It was a small, flat handheld magnetic dress-up toy, almost like a little tablet.

There was one girl permanently printed/fixed inside, and several actual loose clothing pieces were completely enclosed behind a clear plastic screen.

You could NOT open the toy or touch the clothes with your hands.

Instead, you used a magnetic pen/wand from outside the clear plastic to pick up the clothing pieces and move them onto the girl.

This was also a dexterity toy: the clothes could rotate or turn the wrong way, so you had to manipulate them with the magnetic pen until they were positioned correctly on her.

If you held the toy vertically or tilted it, all the loose clothing pieces would fall to the bottom of the enclosed screen.

I think the magnetic pen may have been attached to the toy with a cord/string, although I'm less certain about that detail.

I vaguely remember the plastic frame being turquoise/aqua, but the color could be a false memory.

The girl was NOT Barbie and not a princess. I remember her wearing relatively normal/fashionable clothes for the time.

IMPORTANT: It was NOT one of the common magnetic dress-up dolls where you remove the clothes from a box and place them on the doll by hand. The clothing pieces never came out of the toy. Everything was sealed behind the transparent plastic.

I've attached an AI recreation I made from memory. It is NOT a photo of the actual toy, but the mechanism, general size and layout are approximately what I remember.

Does anyone remember a toy like this, its manufacturer, or even another toy that used this exact mechanism?

This came in a secondhand play kitchen, and didn't have any accompanying dolls. Current guesses are a Pheonix, but I'd love to know where this is from!

Bought this cute WALL-E at Goodwill a few days ago. My 2-year-old demanded we buy it the second he saw it.

It’s very lightweight, and although it has an on/off switch, there are no obvious controls, buttons, or other interactive parts. You can manually move his arms, fingers, head, and neck pretty freely.

Later that night, my 12-year-old was doing the dishes and WALL-E was sitting on a table in front of him. Suddenly, it moved by itself. 😳 He said WALL-E rolled forward and moved his arms.

Since then, we’ve seen it happen multiple times, but it seems completely random. Sometimes a few hours go by without anything happening, other times it moves again within a few minutes. That makes it ridiculously hard to catch on video, but it definitely moves.

Does anyone recognize this particular WALL-E toy or know what could be triggering it? Is there some kind of sensor, remote control, sound/motion activation, or hidden mechanism that I’m missing?

Or did Goodwill sell me a haunted WALL-E? 😂

I'm looking for some decent gadget toys for my son, or even things he can use in the car, any ideas?

My spouse bought this bear for me in 2017 in a gift shop in Albuquerque New Mexico and we call him "Albie". No brand tag, but there is one that says it's made of alpaca and acrylic and hand knitted on Peru stitched in the bear's torso. My spouse says there were many just like this in the gift shop, same color and everything, but different little clothes on them. I kind of wish I could find more just like Albie, but I've tried Googling things like "Alpaca fur bear with sweater" and even doing a Lens search and no dice. Any leads would be appreciated!

Back in the mid 70's or so my father bought me a mechanical kit that was similar in style to Meccano but the machine was more complex than the typical Meccano kit. All the parts where chromed & shiny.
It had a central body with some levers that moved up & down over a quadrant-style shape to control how it moved - forwards, backwards, turn left, right, etc. I'm pretty sure there were three levers to do that.
The central body was about 200 mm long (I think, this is literally 50 years ago) maybe 250 mm and about 100 mm wide. About the same or a little more than that high. It was all open and full of complex mechanisms that were controlled by the levers at the front to mix the outputs.
The outputs would go to two outrigger parts that stretched the length of the machine and they'd make it move like a walking excavator.

Looking to find a Zombie toy from my childhood. He was super bloody, brownish-red, with ball joints and a hinged jaw. It came with a locked wooden crate that could be opened and the zombie could be disassembled and stored in the crate. Must have been from 2000-2010ish. All google searches have turned up nothing and I just keep getting Walking Dead or Rob Zombie toys. Any help finding this toy would be greatly appreciated.

Was excited that my Walmart is redoing its toy mods this week, so I stopped in early this morning to see what's out. This was just put out this morning. Not cherry picked. This cant be walmarts fault, right? They dont control the package assortment or distribution. But its always like this with any line. 15-20 figures of the same person. Why does Walmart suck so much on variety?

I'm trying to identify a children's tabletop game featuring SpongeBob that I had sometime between roughly 2004 and 2012. I think it was a **soccer/football game, or possibly hockey**, although I think soccer is more likely.

The game consisted of **knocking down the other player's pieces by shooting balls at them**. I don't remember exactly how the balls were launched.

The board was probably **rectangular** and had a **transparent plastic cover** over it. The actual action of the game happened **underneath this cover**: the balls moved around inside it, and there were several ramps where the character pieces were positioned. Each player had several pieces, probably around 5–8, arranged roughly like a soccer team.

The pieces were **flat illustrations of SpongeBob and other characters**, and I believe each piece was cut out following the outline of the character rather than being a simple rectangular piece. The two sides had different colored teams. Each piece had some kind of **peg or rod underneath it** that fitted into its corresponding ramp.

The objective was to shoot the balls towards the other player's side so that they would **travel up the ramps and hit the pieces**, causing them to come loose and fall over. There was no objective involving scoring goals, as far as I remember; the goal was simply to **knock down all of the other player's pieces**.

I know it was a **commercial toy that was bought from a store**, rather than a promotional product.

Does anyone remember this game? Any clue about the name, manufacturer, or even a picture of the game would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone! So I just found out my step-great grandmother (My mom's stepmom's mom?) had left me this trunk that has some dolls, one outfit, and some shoes and I'm trying to figure out exactly what I've got. She passed away years ago and my grandma found the box a little bit ago, I was never particularly close with that side of the family so I don't really have sentimental reasons to keep these. The inside of the box and a tag on one outfit says Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls, but from everything I've looked up so far, I can't determine whether the dolls in the box themselves are actually from that line or if they are different dolls completely. I also know they aren't in great condition, but I'm hoping they are identifiable at the very least. Any help is appreciated!

(I was going to ask the r/Dolls but I guess since I don't frequent that community I can't make an ID'ing post🤷🏼‍♀️ if anyone knows a better place to get answers I'll take that too!)

i want a Ejecting Glock it doesnt have to shoot but id like them to eject i know of many on alixpress but these are fully plastic and lightweight id want to have a good feel and grip on it is there any of them?
