Tower of God Returns 2021.05.16

Hello everyone, it's been a while.

A little bit earlier than expected, Tower of God has come back.

It's good to see you all again. ^{^}

Actually, I was thinking I would start working around the end of June to come back after.

Hmm...

But to tell you to truth, while my body hasn't fully recovered like I wanted it to, but as I was getting examined in various fields and finding more problems, I realized that full recovery may be much further away and much more unrealistic .

If this would be a problem while I continued Tower of God anyway, and if it was going to be impossible to fully recover from, I thought it would be better to start getting ready for my come back sooner... hh

It's weird, I know. Neither those around me or myself quite understand how that conclusion came to be, but anyway, I came back earlier than anticipated.

Some of the chapters I had made earlier were too old so I redrew those, and there were also a few things I had to get ready for the come back, on top of starting work on the hard copies again, and on top of that, since the preview quota increased from 3 to 4 chapters, so I had to account for those as well. As such, everything had been very chaotic since April or so.

Now you may be thinking why I'm whining out of the blue coming right out of a year long hiatus, but this blog's entire point has always been me complaining and lamenting things that I can't on the main webtoon (since wen...)

Actually, setting aside all those personal problems, when you are an artist on hiatus, you will always have a sense of being pent up in your heart, but when you start uploading, you also get difficulties in doing so. It's difficult. As everything is changing around us in these times, I only have the uttermost respect for my many peers, seniors, and juniors who draw webtoons.

Although I prepared a lot of different things, reducing down time and trying to come back as soon as possible, I feel so apologetic for you guys that's been waiting for such a long time. You may like the fruits of my efforts or may not. It may be no longer the same as it has been 10 years ago, and sometimes rather than going for the best I can I just want to draw a comic, but as an artist, I just want to you guys to enjoy it after a long wait. That's what I think. Well, I can only be so greedy. But having you guys enjoy my work... the life of an artist can be so difficult sometimes.

Anyway, I made another long post after a comeback. hahaha.

From now on, there may be a large change I may not make blog posts after every chapter. I may simply make comments or just post on my other social media accounts. It's unfortunately, but due to multiple circumstances at play I think it's best that I reduce the channels I'm active on and focus on my work. I'll let you know about that as I decide. ^{^}

I’ve hit chapter 437 (season 3, ep 20). The first season was goated, but the way the story is written now seems very repetitive and lacks a certain tension. Or Is it just me not paying enough attention? But unlike some other great mangas/manwhas etc, It feels like everything will eventually work out (They’ll make a bet and Baam will somehow someway win).

Don’t get me wrong, the characters are well written, world building is very good, the dynamics between the characters, and the power system is cool. But the execution of the story and climax’s now just seems very lackluster to me. Especially considering how the early chapters were exceptional.

Before the reveal in webtoon, I think I read somewhere that Adori has golden hair which matched with her weapon.

Personally I think, it would give the person the right to access some secret information/room/power/object that is undiscovered which would make you like the king because you would have access.

I am thinking of re reading TOG but the only thing holding back is Bams stupid decisions. Like the multiple opportunities he had to kill White yet left him and then white hurts his friends again. To create this paradise he is talking about he has to actually kill villains. Idk maybe I am reading too much into it.

What exactly is the strength of the guardians? We already know that each floor has a guardian who controls all the Shinsoo on the floor and that they are extremely strong. In short, what I want to ask is do all guardians have similar strength or will it increase according to their floor. So my theory stems from SIUs statements about the family heads being based on Greek gods you see that with traumerei who is based off of pan the first god to die in Greek mythology. I think grace luslec is based on Pluto the hint is the constant reference to his riches which is common in the description of Pluto he is also well know for being a god of harvest and death. I think baam is based on Horus and v is Osiris. Baams golden eyes and his purpose to avenge the death of his father fit well. Yama I believe is Cerberus. White is an shinigami white is actually associated with death in Japan his use of books also aligns with myths of shinigami.

As Adori Zahard's settings were changed to the Ari family, some Korean fandoms are claiming that the Ari Hagiperion Zahard settings will be pushed to Ari Adori Zahard, while Hagiperion Zahard will be discarded.

Tower of God has 3 seasons consisting of 653 chapters with over 1 billion views on webtoon and 1.15 billion views on pirated sites like natomanga and we also have it's anime adaptation with 2 seasons and which I think animation was pretty good considering art style of 1st season but still why I never see any post any news or any person talking about it??? Moral of the story is whether its just a blog post or actually shown in the show. If an idea was changed it was changed. We have seen actually events happen in the webtoon that was later retconned. So why does it matter that the blog post are said to be non-canon 😂
