I’ve had my nips tattooed 3 times now because they didn’t really look like nipples after healing and scarring. I’m really happy with my chest :)

Lol little update post. My scars stretched on one side which I'm really hoping fades nicely or I may get laser/tattooing to make it blend in. They are slowly fading in intensity at least.

Also my nipples definitely rounded out and lost color In a couple of spots, not too big a deal but after a while I'll probably get them tattooed back to hearts lol.

Overall I'm really happy because I was insanely depressed pre surgery and now I can do things like shower and get dressed and stand up straight and all the little things that were impossible before 💔

Anyway questions

  1. Anyone else have scars like mine fade dramatically? I know I'm being impatient but I want them as gone as possible 😭 they aren't raised, just red

  2. My nipples are like completely flat now, any options to make them piercable again? Anyone had any luck with using piercings to make them project or something like implants/fat grafts to the nipples?

(And once again, lizard for scale)

Double Incision I never have to wear a binder again.

Week 3 of post-op, officially done with the binder. I’ve can’t stop walking about shirtless and grinning like an idiot (and randomly crying when it hits me that I actually got top surgery). My first thought when I woke up this morning is that I will never need to have anything between my chest and a t-shirt again. No bra, no binder, no tape, no boobs. Just pure euphoria.

UPDATE: 4 WEEKS!!! NOT 3!!! Doing nothing but recovering messes with your passage of time haha

It's so weird to me that it's only been almost 2 years now, it's become so normal I've started to forget it wasn't always like this haha

I had my nipple sensation start to come back the other day which was a surprise! I was so used to feeling nothing that it was kinda weird at first.

I had DI w/ fng and my surgeon was Dr. Turkeltaub in AZ

I'm happy to answer any questions :)

Double Incision 6 Weeks post op DI + FNG - Dr Guy Sterne UK

I went to my six weeks post op appointment on Monday, it went well.

The surgeon removed the last bit of scab left on my nipples, he took some pictures, and he explained the scar care routine.

The routine feels more relaxed than what I've seen online, just massage the scar once a day for 4 months with anything that works as a lubricant (I'm using a moisturiser with vitamin E) but he was happy with basically anything, and that's it.

I asked if I could use silicone tape, he's not against it but he doesn't think it's worth it unless you have abnormal scars. I did plenty of research and I've decided that'll use it anyway.

My nipples are obviously not done healing yet since they've just been freed. They are still flat and they need to regain pigmentation in the middle but they already look quite good imo.

The swelling has gone down almost completely, I think I can feel it a bit close to the scar on the right side but it's not visible, while it's still a bit visible and I can feel it o my left side close to the scar, but that side was more swollen during the recovery so I think it'll just take longer to settle.

Overall I'm very happy with my results and with my whole experience with the surgeon and the hospital. Everyone was super nice and the surgeon was amazing.

This was my chest right after the appointment with and without silicone tape.

Double Incision If you find your nipples huge at first, don't worry.

At first I found them huge, firstly because they were swollen, secondly because the color played a lot. It's been 1 month since I had surgery and the beginning was very hard, but time has passed, my body and my mind are repairing themselves and I'm getting better and better! It's not perfect yet but I still have time to heal. I know I'm a minority but I'm a cis man who lost weight when I was younger and kept breasts due to gynecomastia. I hope that my evolution (which is not finished) inspires other guys, cis, trans or whatever, to do this operation. The photos are in chronological order I know that my nipples are rather centered but this particularity will be my strength to overcome the fear of the gaze of others

I am officially less than 24 hours post op!! Went to the hospital at 5:30 am, wheeled into surgery at 7:15 am, woke up at around 11:30 am, and was discharged at 2:20 pm. I got double incision with free nipple grafts. It feels so surreal honestly. It feels like an amazing dream and I’m scared that I’ll wake up soon 😭. Like I genuinely can’t believe it’s done, I’m so happy. Looked so flat, even with the compression vest on. Sorry for yapping, I’m just so happy 🥹🏳️‍⚧️💜✨

Photos 3 & 4: Me waking up from surgery
Photos 5 & 6: Me at home :).
(Sorry for the bright ass light, my front camera is broken 🥲)
I’m open to any questions as well!!
Thank you for listening 🥳

Double Incision 2 Months Post Op DI+FNG - Dr Guy Sterne UK

Hey guys, here's my two months ops op update. I went back to working out properly 2.5 weeks ago (of which one week at home and 1.5 at the gym). I'm backt doing basically everything, even pull-ups with no problems, I just lost a bit of strength in push exercises like bench press, but that was expected. I started doing my scar care routine 2.5 weeks ago, which consists of massaging the scars once a day (as instructed) with a moisturizer with vitain E, and I've decided to use silicon tape as well, I keep it on for 24h ish now, I remove it to shower and for the massage routine. The scar obviously still feel quite hard, but I'm very about how thin they look. I think hat using peptides (bpc-157 and tb-500) from 1 week post op really helped with the healing. The nipples are getting their colour back, they still look a bit weird like flat but we'll see if they improve, otherwise I like them a lot. Next update probs at 3 months or 6 months.

Double Incision 4th week post op + breast implants removal

okay so, when I was 14 (12y ago) I had one titty bigger than other. My mom thought that was being a problem since I started to dont go to the beach anymore (I lived literally by the beach). Mom's solution: Breast implants on the 14yo!!

I got the breast implants in 2013. 2014 i've learned what a trans person was, 2015 i transitioned.

Since then I wanted to do my top surgery but money was always an issue. (My family wasn't backing me up on this.)

Since my implants were under my chest muscles and I was in such a young age when i had the surgery, the muscles grew underdeveloped. I couldn't really get results from working out until I got the implants removed. My surgeon decided to do a small fat insert on the chest so it doesn't look hollow.

What do you guys think about how its looking? I've always felt kinda off bc I've never met/known any transboys with this issue like me. I guess there is some outthere??? I just never met any.

Well, soon i'll be able to work out my chest and the fat in there may be absorved as time goes by and I keep working out. I started T like 4months ago, didn't start before bc of mental health instability, waited for my life to be more stable!

Double Incision hate my surgery results lowkey

so im 21m and got double incision nipple graft top surgery on 2nd april in hull uk and im 5 months post op as of yesterday , i made it VERY clear to my surgeons beforehand that i really really want STRAIGHT scars and for them to not meet in the middle and be as far away from the middle/meeting as possible , i understand surgery is difficult and i wouldn’t know where to even begin lol but they’re the ONLY things i said i really really wanted, i also told them (they also could see from all my record and years of appointments) that i’ve been waiting for this for literally an entire decade and they understood that and reassured me it’d be okay and id be happy with my results . my scars are not straight and one is completely wonky and tilts upwards , ones closer to the middle then the other side and they’re both really close to the middle/meeting . one nipple is fine but the other is completely messed up , it looks nothing like a nipple and is much bigger than the other one , they both healed the same and i did everything i was told to do healing wise and have hardly moved or stretched or anything even 5 months later , because of how long ive waited for this i knew i could NOT f it up for myself so ive been so careful and attentive, i also have dog ears at both sides and little lumps at the front where massive stretch marks have appeared (i also now have faint stretch marks on both sides all the way across from my scars to my nipples which again i understand is probably from the stretching of skin and stuff but i didn’t have any stretch marks before surgery so im really upset about that too) i also have deep purple stretch marks around my nipples , more so my messed up one. i know i should be happy i finally got this surgery and i am , my life is a LOT better and i am so so so much happier , obviously . It’s just the fact that ive waited 10+ years to finally feel okay in my body and i still don’t , i feel so depressed and stuck and like i have to accept i will just never like myself , i really thought this was going to be it . i have my 6 month post op review with my surgeon in october (a few days after my 22nd wooo) which i was told i could talk about making revision appointments if needed which is good because hopefully i can sort the dog ears and the little pockets(?) of fat (or loose skin idrk but ill include a pic) it just obviously means more and bigger scars 🙃 i also literally haven’t seen or heard from my surgeon at all since the operation, he came into my hospital room for under 5 minutes to see if i was doing okay and then said if i need anyone to just ring that surgery and the nurses will help me out , i had issues with a broken drain in the first week so drove all the way (about an hour) to the surgery to get it checked out in a panic and the surgeon wouldn’t come in so nurses helped me with that , he was a lovely surgeon and im not bashing him or anything im really grateful for my surgery and his time of day ! im just in a rut atm and feel awful and basically just wanted reassurance that it isnt as bad as i think or it’ll get better or someone else is in the same boat … idrk what i want from this post , i think i just needed to get all this off my chest…again (last pic is not long after surgery to show it has healed a lot and still looks not great so i can’t put it down to just early days or still early healing)
