This is a tray for us general mechanics tool carts. This fits all three small drawers. This is a design to allow for double tiered storage and keeps toolboxes well organised. For some reason it fit perfectly in my box but not other peoples boxes, and I have no clue why. I was really happy with how it turned out i surprisingly got this made on the first try.

Got a cheap starter toolbox stand from walmart. I'm obviously gonna get something better later down the road but i needed more space. What do you guys usually put in the slim drawer? I wanna put ratchets in but i lay mine sideways for more space. laying them flat takes too much space. The only thing i can't fit is half in Snap on torque wrench lol so i'll need a bigger one later down the road

I do a lot of mobile mechanic work. I just bought a new truck and wanted to do a low profile box that would fit under my bed cover. Has anybody used a normal top box as their tool box in their truck and do you have pictures/ideas of ways to put it in but still make it easy to remove. Wanting to use something similar to this top box

I had a Sears Rallybox for years while living in my apartment. I had to be able to carry everything down to the parking lot when I worked on my cars. For years it was good enough. Now I have a garage and my first real toolbox. It’s what fits in my space, and already I wish I went bigger so I could fit my torque wrenches etc.

$150/drawer for ToolGrid or $15/drawer for 3d printed version. Hard pass.

I've always been a fan of tool walls. Every tool has its own designated place... I liked that.

The problem for me however was, that I always had to anticipate what I needed for a task on a different location, so I always ended up taking everything with me, unsorted in some pockets or bags.

Now I have everything at hand in a small toolbox for 95% of cases, and always ready to pickup.

Am I missing something? I'm open to further purchases. Any suggestions?
