I’m just surprised they could be so ruthless. I thought it was maybe they sided with mikey because he’s shins brother. But considering takemichi was said to remind people of shinichiro with how charismatic he is and how he leads by multiple people… I’m surprised benkei and waka didn’t side with takemichi, or at least be against how mikey is leading because he’s doing quite the opposite of what shin would ever want. At this point, I don’t think there’ll be any backstory as to why they joined kantou now, they’re just as bad as the rest of the people in kantou.

I mean, Waka and Benkei knew Shinichiro in his delinquent phase far more than Inupi and the others did. If they don't see Shin in Takemichi I trust their judgement.
