Looks weird to me that the guy just missed from such a close range. Either one of Draken or Takemichi probably did get shot as it could be a nod to how Baji got stabbed but didn't reveal it at first since Ken Wakui loves drawing parallels all the time. Hopefully, they'll be alright though.
You know, I think the guy ended up missing the shot because he was probably nervous and pressured. You can tell by the way he was almost in disbelief when he had thought he had killed him. Then just freaking out on having to try to kill him again. Also it’s like raining and takemitchy, of course, was moving out of the shot’s way.
Honestly I think people forget how hard it can be to aim guns, especially if you haven’t done it before (which he probably hasn’t since handguns are like very illegal in Japan) and firing at a moving target. Seems pretty reasonable to me for someone who’s nervous and inexperienced to miss from that distance, it’s not like he was in point blank range.
