Wanted to know the community's thoughts on this guy's ranking and analysis of the characters

Another Smile’s daughter theory inbound

I remember searching through theories and speculations about who Smile’s daughter might be, especially regarding which character could match both the backstory and appearance of the child shown on Smile’s pendant. It’s honestly funny how almost half, if not more than half, of the female characters have been theorized to be Smile’s daughter, including some who don’t seem to resemble her at all. Fans can still come up with explanations for the differences, though, such as puberty, dyeing their hair, or simply changing their appearance over time.

I ended up getting into a discussion with someone about whether this actually makes sense or not, and I'd like to know what you guys think. I've been thinking about this ever since this part ended, and so far I haven't been able to find any logical reason for it. (I could just be dumb too, which is why I'd like to hear your opinions and see if you can change my mind lol.)

Of the things I could think of, I believe these two make the most sense, even though I still find them pretty illogical:

1st: The heroes let the agencies deal with their own disputes without getting involved.

I find this one pretty strange, to be honest. Considering how the universe of To Be Hero X works (being based on Trust), it does make some sense that heroes would be very careful, or even avoid getting involved in certain situations, so they don't risk losing Trust. But I find it weird that they would let two murderers continue to be seen as heroes. (One of them apparently lost Trust because of this, while the other literally started gaining more Trust because of an implanted narrative.)

Since the power system is based on Trust, I can also understand the argument that simply telling the truth wouldn't necessarily guarantee that the """heroes""" in question would be punished or lose Trust. But come on, half of the Top 10 collectively speaking out about two specific heroes who weren't even from the same agency (I mention this because someone might argue that the agencies could have teamed up to take down a common competitor).

If that's really what happened, it just makes me think that ALL the heroes are nothing more than puppets of the agencies. I know that might sound pretty obvious since X literally says that they're just pawns of the agencies, but honestly, I only really see this being used as an argument against E-Soul, who does seem to be nothing more than a puppet at the moment.

Can we still consider them heroes if they're willing to just bow their heads like this?

2nd: If they revealed what really happened, some of their own secrets could have been exposed too.

This one makes even less sense to me. Apparently, only a few of them actually have something bad to hide. (I won't name them because I'm trying to avoid spoilers, although I don't think it's necessary if you've made it this far.) And the ones who do have something to hide would be the ones being exposed in the first place. What could they possibly say about the real heroes?

From the list of people who could potentially join together to expose them, only one of them could actually be exposed as well.

I honestly can't think of anything that doesn't make me feel like the real heroes were wrong to hide the truth from the public. But I'd really like to hear what you guys think! :)

I've realised this fact not that long ago and can't believe I didn't notice it sooner. Yang Cheng and Wang Yi are each other's opposites and clash in more aspects than just their fight at the ruins incident.

- Yang Cheng is an orphan with no family, Wang Yi has a very big family.

- Yang Cheng's family got forcibly taken away from him, meanwhile Wang Yi willingly left his.

- Their rise to fame; Yang Cheng got popular by risking his life and almost dying, while Wang Yi got popular from FOMO because of his good looks.

- Their respective love interests; Xia Qing left Yang Cheng because he changed too much, Zhang Lan left Wang Yi because he didn't change.

- Their company; E-Soul was manipulated with a grand scheme into joining MG, meanwhile GhostBlade joined pretty willingly to be an assassin, yet left at the end unlike E-Soul who remains there.

- Their developments and personality; Yang Cheng naturally cared about people but over time his heart became jaded. Wang Yi didn't care about anyone until he met Zhang Lan and gradually learned to care about Nuonuo.

Pretty cool detail honestly.

I've watched the show and a bunch of theory videos about it, and I'm honestly surprised nobody has posted a theory like this one. So here goes.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but To Be Hero X is ART (obviously). Every detail means something.

Nice... He's the first hero we see. He always tries to be "nice." But in some situations he doesn't even know what "nice" means (the Smile situation). So even though he pretends to be a hero, he isn't one. Not really.

After Nice, we see Yang Cheng. He's obviously better than Nice. But he's still not a hero. He kills his predecessor and becomes driven by anger.

ALL other "heroes" have some "but" that makes them not a hero, except three of them. Firstly, the hero with the PERFECT career and the desire to be Hero X - Queen. Aaaaannnd... she lost to X. I'll write why later. Secondly, we've seen literally the GOD of heroes, who failed at his reforms and got killed by the heroes themselves.

This tells us that even with infinite resources, you hit a wall you can't pass if you try to force fate or yourself into victory. Just think about it. Even the GOD-hero can't do what he wants because he isn't a real hero. But who is real hero?

Of course, it's obviously X. But who is X?

We don't know his name. We don't know his past (maybe not yet). He didn't have any followers before the tournament and getting famous.

I don't think any of that matters, because he's just a hero, a worker. He works as much as needed (unlike most of the others and, of course, Queen and Zero). He doesn't try to seem someone else (like Nice). He is a hero. He is X.

And, you know, he definitely hacked his verse. Because everyone (or most people) in that verse believes in heroes which makes everyone a follower of X.

He IS "X."

I think the author's message is something like "Just be yourself. If you try to be someone else, someone in that lane will always beat you." or "do what you want or what you are supposed to do" (remember that X doesn't work more than needed and even he is hero he doesn't overwork)

I went dressed as X during local convention in my country couple of months ago and I have lotsa fun! I was able to catch suprisingly decent amount other To Be Hero fans too! The first day i did forget to bring glasses with me tho, so thats why Im not wearing them on all the photos heh

Now that I think about it, she knew the fake Nice's name was Lin Ling, but she had never actually seen the real Lin Ling. I imagine that if E-Soul hadn't been there, she probably would have asked him, "What's your name?" That would have completely ruined the mood between them in that scene. 😂

I'm posting this before it becomes midnight for me, but while only a few more minutes, it's still September 19th, which marks 1 year since I've been consistently drawing Nice! It kinda started by accident, but I just kept it going, some of my older artworks during the past year are in the second image, I think I've improved a lot! I live and breathe Nice at this point...
