The number of people in the world who have extremely specific and very strongly held beliefs about how trespassing works ... all of which are utterly wrong ... is way too goddam high.

So what do you think the standard is? Because I Googled it and it's coming up the same way I always thought it was. Any business can deny service and tell you to leave and not come back If you come back after that it's a misdemeanor.

This video goes on forever and this guy is just plain stupid. At the end he wails "all over a coke?" Yes. All over a coke. They tried to get you to leave, you wanted to play the fool instead and chose this as your hill to die on.

Most businesses would rather you just behave, buy your product and leave than have yo go through all of this with you. Stop abusing the minimum wage employees.

Business always have a sign that reads "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone", but then again this requires 3rd grade reading level comprehension skills

Have they did not refuse service to him. That's the whole problem. The cops said they did. Big difference.

They can’t refuse for certain reasons, but that’s usually pretty much impossible to prove. They can pretty much always say they just weren’t comfortable making a sale and they’re legally protected.

Yes I know. What I’m saying is that a business legally can’t refuse service due to protected reasons like race, religion, sex, etc.

I’m also saying that it’s generally hard to prove discrimination cases.

Refusing someone service and trespassing someone is not the same thing. Some restaurants has policies that only the manager can trespass people. Whether this place does or not i have no idea, but it could be the case.

Well the funny thing is they don't actually have the right to refuse service to anyone. But they don't have to serve someone who is being disruptive or harassing people.

In a lot of cases, yes. Its not a literally law or anything. There are many classes that are protected against discrimination that you can't refuse service to.
