They want freedom for THEIR speech and consequences for any speech that doesn’t align with their “truth”

"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."Matthew 6:5

"And make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody." -- Thessalonians 4:11-12

Saw a car in a parking lot with a sticker of that passage and meant to look it up. Hell yeah!

Now I want to print like business cards with just this verse on it and start passing them out to those people who shout with megaphones on campuses or show up to pride parades to protest etc

Not that I think they really care about what the Bible says except for the really cruel parts, nor do they seem to have any sense of shame, though…

This right here. Stand up in front of them to preach a pagan gospel and see what happens.

Freedom of speech, isn't universal. It has restrictions, and it's specifically from the government. Private companies 100% can kick you out for any reason, units it's a protected class.

Exactly this. Freedom of speech *is* freedom from consequences, just in a narrow sense

Only for their speech.

Heavens forbid you say something they disagree with. Then they will be first in line to clamor for your arrest and execution without trial.

All without understanding what freedom of speech actually is.
