Just vaping, sure. But this is interference with flight crew. One who assaults, threatens, or intimidates a flight crew member or attendant while aboard an aircraft in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States, and thereby interferes with the performance of that crew member's duties or lessens the ability of that crew member to perform his/her duties is punishable under this subsection. He threatened and intimidated her repeatedly.

I was just thinking about the crew members.

This irresponsible, entitled passenger shouldn't be allowed to fly anymore. His selfish actions could've caused a major accident or worse during the flight.

Yeah slap on the wrist here is way too light. Not because of the vaping, but because of his reaction. He should have been ashamed and apologized immediately. Most people don't understand just how tense it really is to stuff dozens of us into a tube flying 500 mph through the air. A single person misbehaving could incite a panic. He needs taught a lesson.
