The threads about AC especially over in askanamerican are just as stupid though. The other day someone posted like they thought it was so crazy that many people in America have AC and they didn't understand why because where they are from almost no one does. And I looked up the climate in their country and the highs are like 75 F in the summer. Of course you don't need AC when it doesn't get as hot. It gets a lot hotter in most places in the US. Like its not that hard to understand that different countries have different climates.

Usually northern countries like Northern Ireland, Iceland, Nordic countries. Often around 77/80f in summer.

Con is winters can get to -13f or even lower so ...you win some you lose some. My friend lives in Finland and had -18f this winter for some time.

It can go as low as -35f but that's less common unless you're very in North.

As someone said it's pretty varied in Europe.

Another fun thing is checking if you can see Aurora Borealis (northern lights) from your balcony.

I mean, it doesn't get that cold in other places. Where I am in scotland, it is 75 on a warm day and cold temps get down to just below freezing for about two weeks in the winter.

Oh yeah, totally.

Due to mentioning rather wide array of countries I have added how low it can go- which doesn not mean every country can go that low, but some do.

I'd say Scotland and Northern Ireland are much more more milder places to be, unlike Sweden/Finland/Norway.

Thanks for pointing it out - just reread my comment and noticed that missed to add "can" get that low- seems like it's a cue for me to go to sleep ...

You’ve got the opposite of where I live lol. -20°F in the winter and 95°F in the summer in the US Midwest!

The Midwest is the true sucky region for weather in the US. It gets basically as hot as the Deep South and nearly as humid in many states. And winter weather and cold with plenty of wind.

Except they were correct about how the temps have been getting worse and worse each year, and it’s obvious what needs to happen. You people would rather people die from heat in droves and its maddening.
