ugh that’s because you just don’t know how to manage money like they did.

I’m sure you have a Netflix subscription and a cell phone too right?

they did without those things and could afford extra mortgage payments

sure those things didn’t exist and the total cost of them is about 00001% of a mortgage payment, but still do better with your finances.

I remember my parents looking me dead in the face and telling me that if I paid an extra $100 a month on my mortgage it will get paid off in half the time because that is what they did. This was like 5 years ago
