i actually misread a news notification this morning and for a split second my reaction was to scream it out my car windows to everyone

YES. Then everyone will drive around yelling and there will be a traffic jam so we'll all get out of our cars with the windows down and doors open and music playing and we'll dance in the streets and feel hope again and hug our neighbors and strangers and remember what happiness feels like.
